- This card works well in "Infernity" Decks, as they already require an empty hand to fully function and can easily Synchro Summon into Level 8 monsters.
- Using Reckless Greed will make you skip your next 2 draw phases, increasing the chances that you will have an empty hand.
- This card could potentially work very well in a Blackwing Deck with its high attack and defense and the higher speed the Blackwings use their hand, thus granting the negation effect.
- In particular, the "Vayu Turbo" strategy benefits the most from this card, as the build uses "Dark Grepher" to send "Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor" and other Blackwing monsters to the Graveyard, emptying your hand quickly. Since the Deck usually includes "Plaguespreader Zombie" as well, Summoning this card is as easy as using the effects of "Vayu" and "Plaguespreader", with the latter reducing your hand size even further. For maximum effectiveness, try to return to the top of your Deck a card you can immediately Summon, activate or Set during the next turn, keeping the effect of this card live at all times.
