- This is the first TCG exclusive Sea Serpent-Type Xyz Monster, and the third TCG exclusive Sea Serpent-Type monster in general.
- This card is a Xyz counterpart of "The Dragon Dwelling in the Deep", having the same appearance and stats: Level/Rank, Attribute, ATK, and DEF.
- "The Dragon Dwelling in the Deep" was also a TCG exclusive monster.
- This could be also be the WATER counterpart to "Dweller in the Depths"and "The Thing in the Crater."
