- "Gigobyte" > "Jigabyte" > "Gagagigo" > "Giga Gagagigo" > "Gogiga Gagagigo" > "Gagagigo the Risen"
- This card is the third form of the "Gagagigo" series of Monsters, and related to the Charmer card series -- specifically, "Eria the Water Charmer".
- Similar to "Goblin of Greed", "Warrior Dai Grepher", "Dark King of the Abyss" and "Warrior Lady of the Wasteland", "Gagagigo" has a story told through various other card artworks.
- This card's artwork is taken from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel 332 (Millennium World Duel 54): "The Stone Slabs of the Modern World!", specifically from the panel showing "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" being Summoned, albeit with major changes in detailing.
- While this card's TCG artwork is unedited, the TCG artworks of cards such as "Stumbling" and "Absolute End" have been edited to give this monster shorts.
- This monster appears in the artwork of the following cards:
- "Familiar-Possessed - Eria"
- "Stumbling"
- "Two-Man Cell Battle"
- "My Body as a Shield"
- "Absolute End"
- "Spirit Barrier"
- "Dimensional Prison"
- "D.D. Borderline"
- "Level Conversion Lab"
- "Altar for Tribute"
- "Subspatial Battle"
- "Eisbahn"
- "Triangle Power"
- "Marmiting Captain"
- "Premature Return"
- "Joining Forces"
- The Spanish print of this card has an errata, lacking a diacritical mark in the word "tenía". "Tenia" is the Spanish word for "tapeworm".
