(the nails are an integral part of Cyber Slash, thats why shes called that. and Im not saying this is HL1, Im saying shes the #1 of HLS, who looks the same as SC, horrible artstyle apart. after all it makes no sense to put a modern monster on nostalgia art)

* In some versions of this card's artwork, a Monster Card is featured with the artwork of "House of Adhesive Tape".
+
* The card "House of Adhesive Tape" appears in this card's first OCG/TCG artwork, oddly using the design of a Monster Card.
** Also, in the before said artwork, the card has the design of a old OCG Monster Card instead of a Trap Card.
+
** The text in this artwork appears to be "Hoi Hoi House" (ホイホイハウス, Hoi Hoi Hausu). This likely references Hoy Hoy, the Japanese brand of cockroach glue traps.
** Moreover, the before said artwork has been edited in the TCG removing the name of the swept card.
+
** "Harpie Lady 1" of the "Harpie Lady Sisters" appears in this card's third OCG/TCG artwork.
** Considering the duster is attempting to destroy the monster in the alternate artwork, this implies that the monster is being treated as a Spell/Trap Card because it otherwise cannot destroy it.
+
*** This card's third OCG/TCG artwork is based on the fact that it was used alongside "Harpie Lady" while equipped with "Cyber Shield" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime.

+
*** This card's third OCG/TCG artwork is similar to a shot of "Harpie Lady" attacking with "Rose Whip" in Yu-Gi-Oh!.
* This card has a counterpart: "Raigeki"
+
* This card has a "Speed Spell" counterpart: "Speed Spell - Harpie's Feather Duster".

+
* This is one of four cards to feature a card(s) that were designed to counter this card specifically in its effects, the other three being "Dark Hole", "Monster Reborn", and "Raigeki"; in this card's case, it is "Gryphon Wing".
* This card has a reverser, "Gryphon Wing", made useless due to the this card's Forbidden status in the Advanced Format.
+
* This is one of the first cards ever to be Forbidden in both the OCG and TCG (in March and October 2004 respectively). It was the second-to-last card Forbidden at those times to have the status lifted.

+
** In the OCG, it did not come off of the list until January 2015, ten years and ten months later, while in the TCG it remained Forbidden up until September 2020, after almost 16 years.
* This card has a counterpart, "Gryphon's Feather Duster", which destroys the user's Spell & Trap Cards, but their Life Points increase.
+
* This card's effect is one of the four long-Forbidden cards whose effect was used one of the effects of "Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan" and the effect of "Windrose the Elemental Lord".

+
* In Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, this card has a special animation when activated: this feather duster sweeps across the opponent's field, destroying their Spell/Trap Cards afterward.
* While this card is forbidden, there are various downgraded versions of it, including "Earthbound Whirlwind", "Scarlet Security" and "Dark Magic Attack".

* This card's effect is one of the four Forbidden cards that has its effect featured in "Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan".

* This card, along with "Imperial Order" and "Yata-Garasu" are the only cards that have been Forbidden since October 2004. It has however since been unbanned in January 2015 in the OCG, while it remains Forbidden in the TCG.

* This card was one of the first cards to be Forbidden, in October 2004. It did not come off of the list until January 2015, ten years and three months later. As such, it has spent more time on the Forbidden list than any other card in the OCG before becoming Limited once more.

** In the TCG, this record is instead held by "Raigeki", which was also Forbidden in October 2004, and remained so until October 2014 in the TCG, ten years later. "Harpie's Feather Duster" remains Forbidden in the TCG.

** When counting both the TCG and OCG, "Harpie's Feather Duster" holds the overall record, as it was Forbidden for three months longer than "Raigeki".

* Since this card is only played by Mai Valentine in the anime and its effect contains a new pair of wings a face-up "Harpie Lady" gets, it can be speculated that the actual anime effect requires a face-up "Harpie Lady" on the field.

* The summon-triggered effect of "Windrose the Elemental Lord" is based on this card.
