Card Trivia:Malefic Rainbow Dragon

- This card is the "Malefic" counterpart of "Rainbow Dragon".
- This makes it the second counterpart to "Rainbow Dragon", the first being "Rainbow Dark Dragon". Interestingly, both of these are DARK while "Rainbow Dragon" is LIGHT.
- Of the four "Rainbow Dragon" monsters, this one is the easiest to Summon but has the worst drawbacks.
- Also, of the four "Rainbow Dragon" monsters, this is the only one that is not an "Ultimate Crystal God" monster.
- This is the only "Malefic" monster whose cost can be paid from the hand as well as the Deck.
- This monster's attack name in the dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time is Spectral Surge, while in the Japanese version it shares its attack name with its normal counterpart (Over the Rainbow), as do all "Malefic" monsters.
- This card's artwork resembles that of the first artwork of "Cyber End Dragon".
