- This card has four counterparts: "Monster Reincarnation", "Miraculous Rebirth" "Symbol of Heritage", and "Symbols of Duty".
- This card was Forbidden for seven formats before becoming Limited once more, which was longer than any other card before "Dark Hole" surpassed it with nine.
- "Call of the Grave" and "Call of Darkness" specifically counter this card. As a result, Monster Reborn is the only Yu-Gi-Oh! card with 2 counter-cards mentioning it by name.
- The "Ankh" Monster Reborn can be seen in the "Tablet of Lost Memories" on Priest Seto's side.
