  • This is the only Number in the OCG whose Number appears twice in its artwork. The Number on its headband is too small to see well, so the larger 15 was added in the background.
  • This card's sealed form resembles a pulsating heart made out of limbs coiled together, and attached to a puppet controller. When summoned, the outside opens up to reveal the moving gears, and the strings on the puppet lift up to generate the puppets movements.
  • The actual number given to this card could be considered a pun based on the name of its owner. When broken down, "I" is the Roman Numeral for "1", and "V" is the Roman numeral for "5," while this card's number is "15".
    • This card also seems to reflect IV's true personality. When it activates its effect and destroyed an opponent's monster, it does so indiscriminately and without remorse which is similar to how IV felt nothing towards the people he inflicts pain even if it was more than once. The look on this monsters face also looked emotionless, while the monster being destroyed looked like it was suffering a slow but painful death (and was even heard crying/yelling as it was being shredded slowly), which made people watching quiver in fear at the sight.

  • This card's name could also reflect its ability, as it can easily take down stronger Xyz monsters with its effect.
  • This card's effect is similar to "Number 61: Volcasaurus", but a little bit stronger due to its higher rank. Both cards involve detaching an Xyz Material to destroy an opponent's monsters, then inflicting damage equal to their ATK. However, this card can target and destroy all of the opponent's monsters, but limited to only Xyz Monsters, and can apply additional damage from its effect if the destroyed monster(s) gets revived on the same turn.
  • When this card removes an Xyz Material, this card absorbs it through its headband.
    • When this card uses its effect, it lifts up its arms and then shoots a bunch of puppet strings from its two palms at an opponents monster. The monster is then dragged forward to this monsters chest which opens up and places them into a wood chipper to be grinded to pieces, before a cannon like object protrudes from its chest to fire a red colored like energy at the opponent.
  • This card was also shown to use a cat O nine tail whip, which is most likely what it uses to attack with.
  • This card's appearance, especially in its sealed form, is similar to some of the constructs made by the Dollmaker in American McGee's Alice: Madness Returns. The other monsters in IV's deck share this theme, and may be based on the enemies appearing in the game.
  • Note that in its sealed form, it represents the only thing it lacks while in its unsealed form: a heart. In fact, his chest is hollow, and it fills with the monsters destroyed by its effect, as it was trying to fill that void.
  • This card is much like a "Meklord Emperor", as it is specificly ment to combat a certain type (in this case, the "Xyz" monsters), while a "Meklord" is Specificly able to combat Synchros (the difference, is that "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet - Giant Killer" destroys, rather then absorbs the monster(s)). Ironically, all these monsters (Meklords) and "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet - Giant Killer" absorb or destroy the monster(s) from their chest.
