- This monster is not bipedal (two-legged) as the flavor text claims, but is a monopod (one-legged).
- This card is likely named after Matthew Drdek, a member responsible for the first series Yu-Gi-Oh! adaptation, and producer of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, similar to how Slifer the Sky Dragon is named after Roger Slifer, co-producer for the show.
