I FUCKING hate Konami, they are calling the Machine Emperors, the Meklords. Yes, and I am spelling that correctly, though I will still ccalled them the Machine Emperors, I don't like the name "meklord", can't we called them Imperial Machine" monsters instead, it sounds better to me. What do you guys think?71.194.60.36 (talk) 03:20, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

If it's pronounced Mech-lords, I won't mind.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 03:30, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

Where's your confirmation for this? Runer5h (talkcontribs) 03:46, February 12, 2011 (UTC)Runer5h
The people at Pojo have been calling them that for a while. Last I checked, it was just a 'more accurate translation'. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 03:57, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

I hate Pojo. you know they gave DSF a 3/10 a week before it's ban? lawlz--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 04:04, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/news/2011/news_110211_NYtoyfair.html Theres my Effing evidence. But, at least we get Wisel, Skiel, and Grannel, not the soliders in the pack as well.71.194.60.36 (talk) 15:21, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

Meh. It could be worst. It could just be "Wisel, Synchro h8ter"--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 17:48, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

I guess your right, I just got to do something now...*Drives to Konami, and punches the person who changes the names, and the guy who changes the rarities*.21:12, February 12, 2011 (UTC)

See, much better.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 01:03, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I would have been fine if they went with "Mechlords", because that's quite standard for English card names. "Meklords", on the other hand, is taking exotic-sounding naming a little too far. This is probably as bad as the time they decided "Koa'ki Meiru" over "Core Chimail". --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 13:30, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

This is stupid. I dont see any problem of calling them machine emperors. Its not like we dont have existing cards that consists the word 'machine' or 'emperor' in it. Although I am glad to see the release of the machine emperors, their rarity would probably be secret rares.188.221.224.25 (talk) 20:18, February 13, 2011 (UTC)

Actually I thinK:

Damni Skiel is a secret, Konami web-site showed me, but hey Ill get it some how....:(71.194.60.36 (talk) 02:58, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

This complicates the archetype considerably. "Machine Emperors" and "Machine Imperials" appeared to be distinct archetypes. Now all of them are "Meklords". Plus, the "Machine Imperial" archetype is now split between "Meklord Army" and "Meklord Astro" rather than "Machine Imperial Soldier" and "Machine Imperial God". How are we going to categorize this accurately? Cheesedude (talkcontribs) 05:02, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

  • Actually, in Japan they were both classified as "Kikou" monsters. Emperors were "Kikoutei" while Soldiers were "Kikouhei". Both were sub-Archetypes of "Kikou". Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 22:58, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

All of the Meklords will most likely be secrets as they are imports. At least the imports this set won't be as bad as the last set. IonCharge (talkcontribs) 21:56, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

even in the english dub of the show they we're called machine emperors wtf

  • I dislike the name "Meklord". It sounds weak because it's similar to saying "Meh, Lord". "Machine Emperor" sounded better. I also don't like the fact that KONAMI is naming "Machine Imperial Soldier" to "Meklord Army". From User: 002517!! (talkcontribs) 08:28, February 16, 2011 (UTC)
