Editing Forum:Why we've removed the Tier Lists

OK. We kept it around as long as we could, but we have decided to get rid of the Forum-posted Tier Lists (previously part of the main Wiki Namespace). There are a number of reasons for this decision:

==It's entire subjective==

As much as we'd like it to be, Tiers arn't based on fact; at least, not facts that we can directly quote another source on (since I'd argue one of our main strengths is as a content aggregator). This therefore adds room for player interpretation, and then it becomes a problem as we have to then moderate the page; even then, there is no 100% agreed upon listing that satisfies everyone.

==People were taking this list as 100% fact==

This page even got linked to from Reddit, where this page was confused with an actual article on the subject. While an understanding was reached about the nature of this page, it's still something that shouldn't happen, and since SEO will invariably link to a page like this in Google, it had to go.

==It's a moderation nightmare==

GIVE US BACK THE TIER LIST.  IT'S FUCKED UP THAT YOU TOOK IT AWAY.  PEOPLE WANT INFORMATION!  WHO CARES IF SOMEBODY DOESN'T AGREE WITH THE NATURE OF THE LIST COMPLETELY!
