Grace
Grace is a Duel world in Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008. It is a peaceful area, and it is the first Duel World the player visits during the game.
Being the first area it is easy. However there are many tricks and the player must defeat Green Guardian - Embust to advance to the next area.
Colosseum[edit]
The colosseum is the Structure Deck Colosseum, where the player will have to face Amazoness Paladin using one of the thirteen Structure Decks. Amazoness Paladin will also be Dueling the player using a randomly chosen structure Deck as well.

- Fury from the Deep
- Warrior's Triumph
- Spellcaster's Judgment
- Invincible Fortress
- Lord of the Storm
- Dinosaur's Rage
- Machine Re-Volt

- Curse of Darkness
- Rise of the Dragon Lords
Defeating her using all Decks unlocks Bastion Misawa in World Championship Mode, the Amazoness Disk in the wardrobe, and 1 copy of each "Amazoness" card in the game.
Tent[edit]
The tent is where the player can go see Crystal Seer and pay 50 DP to get a fortune - this fortune can help the player proceed through the Duel World storyline if the player get stuck.
Spring[edit]
Once in a while, the spring will have ripples in the water. If the player interacts with it, Kairyu-Shin may appear, which will force the player to duel against it. Otherwise, the player will be asked to throw 100 DP into the water, and if they do, Fairy of the Spring will appear, giving the player an opportunity to obtain an Equip Spell Card.
Duel Spirits[edit]
There are some Duel Spirits against whom the player can Duel in this world. Defeating each one five times unlocks an opponent in World Championship mode.
- Skull Servant, unlocks King of the Skull Servants
- Nightmare Penguin, unlocks Reaper on the Nightmare
- Elemental Hero Knospe, unlocks Elemental Hero Lady Heat
- Sonic Shooter, unlocks Silpheed
- Kairyu-Shin, found in the lake, unlocks Water Dragon
Once the player has beaten everyone at least once, the player will see a Curse of Vampire bullying Gigobyte. Talking to Gigobyte will cause Curse of Vampire to intervene. If the player wagers a rare card, he will agree to Duel. Defeating him unlocks Curse of Vampire in World Championship mode and Gigobyte will show the player to the gate.
If the player returns afterwards, the player will sometimes see White Magician Pikeru, who will ask for a cute card. After giving her one, she will disappear and there may be a chance that Ebon Magician Curran will appear to Duel. After beating her, she will disappear. The player will have to give Pikeru another card to restart the process. Beating Curran five times unlocks Dark Magician Girl, while Pikeru can be unlocked in World Championship mode by giving her a large number of cute cards.
Gate[edit]
Green Guardian - Embust will present the player with five different Decks to Duel against. Beat three, and he will open the gate, allowing the player to enter the next world; Sunlight.
Defeating all five Decks unlocks Syrus Truesdale in World Championship mode.
Stone Monument[edit]
The stone monument, which bears a carving of Master of Oz, will appear once the player has defeated all the Duel spirits. The player must win a Duel, in which they Summoned "Master of Oz" in order to unseal it. For this effort, the player unlocks Tyranno Hassleberry in World Championship mode.
