The May 2003 Forbidden and Limited Lists were Forbidden and Limited lists in the TCG, going into effect on May 8, 2003.[1]
This list updated the previous April 2003 list, changing three cards (one from Semi-Limited and two from Unlimited) to Limited, and one card from Unlimited to Semi-Limited. This list was followed by the July 2003 Forbidden and Limited List.
This was also the first Forbidden and Limited list to specify that the original English-print Egyptian God cards (Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, The Winged Dragon of Ra) are Illegal for sanctioned tournament play.
