"Number 10X" (No.ナンバーズ10X Nanbāzu Hyaku), read as "Over-Hundred Numbers" (オーバー・ハンドレッドNo.ナンバーズ Ōbā Handoreddo Nanbāzu) in the Japanese version[1] and as "Number Over One Hundred" or "Number Over a Hundred" in the dub, is a sub-archetype of the "Number" archetype used by the Seven Barian Emperors as their signature cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. Six of the seven base forms are Rank 4, while the last one is Rank 8. The archetype is primarily supported by the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One". Each "Number 10X" monster has its own Chaos form.

This archetype's name is somewhat unusual in that the exact string "10X" does not actually appear in any of its members' names. Instead, the clause 「Xは1~7の任意の数値」 "X is any number from 1 to 7" is printed. The OCG/TCG card text instead supports each member individually, using the phrase "1 monster that has a number between "Number 101" and "Number 107" in its name" (「No.101」~「No.107」のいずれかをカード名に含むモンスター1体).

Lore

In Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, the "Number 10X" monsters were malignant "Number" monsters created by Don Thousand to corrupt the Seven Barian Emperors, who were transformed due to their connection to the Mythyrian Numbers. When each of the Barian Emperors was about to die, Don Thousand would appear to them and attach each of the "Numbers" to their souls, thus filling them with hate (besides Nash, who revealed that he let himself be a Barian of his fateful volition). This corrupts their human memories and allows them to serve him in the restoration of his power. The corruption of each of the Emperors seems to vary depending on how much Don Thousand manipulated and tormented their previous lives.

The falsified memories they contain can be countered by their corresponding Mythyrian "Number".[2] Unlike the first 100 "Numbers", Astral cannot absorb them since they are not pieces of his memory.[1]

If a Barian Emperor's "Number 10X" is destroyed by its corresponding Mythyrian "Number" and then loses in the same Duel, they forfeit the ability to play their "Number 10X".[3]
