The Orichalchos cards are a series of cards that revolve around The Seal of Orichalcos. All the cards were made for and only exist in the Anime season Waking the Dragons. It was very likely inspired by the fabled Atlantian metal orichalcum.
Judging from their anime appearances, Orichalcos cards are focused on half-stall, half-Beatdown tactics by limiting the opponent's offensive tactics while building Life Points and an army of monsters. Kyutora is summoned in the Spell & Trap Card Zone to protect it from attacks while it negates Battle Damage that weaker monsters, like Gigas, would take by constantly ramming. This archetype is perhaps the only one that contains a monster, Divine Serpent, with infinite original ATK, but one that has a huge cost in attacking and a winner-take-all style condition: once it's summonned, the controller loses their hand and LP, but doesn't lose until it is removed from the field.
So far, only Orichalcos Shunoros has a TCG/OCG equivalent; since The Seal of Orichalcos is not a legal and available card, Orichalcos Shunoros is retooled as Normal Monster support. It was released in Limited Edition Pack 15.
