Platinum Secret Rare is a TCG-exclusive rarity which debuted in and is currently exclusive to the 2014 Mega-Tins. As its name implies, it features platinum-colored foil with the Secret Rare texture pattern in the same vein that Gold Secret Rare features gold foil with the Secret Rare pattern; however, unlike Gold Secret Rare, the foil covers the entire card face with the sole exception of the card text box and the Attribute icon. This rarity seems to be a TCG equivalent to the OCG-exclusive Extra Secret Rare.
