Kaiba (かいば Kaiba) is the player character in the Kaiba Deck version of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist. This is a video game depiction of Seto Kaiba from the manga. The player plays as Kaiba and has their name set to his kana name, かいば.

Certain cards can only be used when playing as Kaiba, notably including "Obelisk the Tormentor" and a number of other cards used by Kaiba in the manga.

Yami Bakura is the only campaign mode opponent that Kaiba cannot face. His drops include "Obelisk the Tormentor" and many other cards used by Kaiba in the manga. Players must trade with Yugi or Joey in order to acquire them.

Scenes

Kaiba appears in the following scenes in the game:

• The Password menu
• The trade menu, if the player does not have sufficient cards or Deck Cost to conduct a trade
• The new game menu, asking players to confirm that they wish to overwrite their saved game

Deck

Kaiba begins the game with the same Starter Deck as Yugi and Joey.

This can be customized using the 617 cards usable in the Kaiba Deck version of the game.
