Seto Kaiba faced a virtual simulation of Dark Yugi, based on Kaiba's memories, in a game of Duel Monsters, in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions.

Duel
Turn 1: Kaiba
Kaiba activates "Polymerization", fusing the 3 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" in his hand to Fusion Summon "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon in Attack Position. Kaiba Sets "Victim's Darkness".
Turn 2: Dark Yugi
Dark Yugi activates "Dark Magic Veil", paying 1000 LP (Dark Yugi: 8000 → 7000 LP) to Special Summon "Dark Magician" from his hand in Attack Position.
Dark Yugi activates "Thousand Knives" to destroy "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", but Kaiba activates "Victim's Darkness", sending "Saggi the Dark Clown" from his Deck to the Graveyard to negate the destruction of "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Dark Yugi Set "Time Chain" and another card.
Turn 3: Kaiba
Kaiba attacks "Dark Magician" with "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", but Dark Yugi activates "Time Chain", negating the destruction of "Dark Magician" (Dark Yugi: 7000 → 5000 LP). Both "Dark Magician" and "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" will be treated as if they were not face-up on the field until their owners' second Standby Phase after "Time Chain's" activation. Kaiba Set 1 card.
Turn 4: Dark Yugi
Dark Yugi Normal Summons "Celtic Guard of Noble Arms" in Attack Position and used its effect to Special Summon "Celtic Guardian" from his hand in Attack Position. "Celtic Guard of Noble Arms" and "Celtic Guardian" attack Kaiba directly(Kaiba: 8000 → 5900 → 4500 LP).
Turn 5: Kaiba
Since he controls no monsters, Kaiba Special Summons "Kaiser Vorse Raider" from his hand via its own effect in Attack Position. "Kaiser Vorse Raider" attacks and destroys "Celtic Guardian" (Dark Yugi: 5000 → 4500). Kaiba Set 1 card.
Turn 6: Dark Yugi
Since it is his 2nd Standby Phase after the activation of "Time Chain", "Dark Magician" was returns to the field. Dark Yugi activates "Magical Dimension", Tributing "Celtic Guard of Noble Arms" to Special Summon "Dark Magician Girl" from his hand and destroy "Kaiser Vorse Raider".
Since a monster he controls was destroyed by a Spell Card, Kaiba activates "Induced Explosion" to destroy Dark Yugi's "Time Chain", returning "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to the field.
Turn 7: Kaiba
Kaiba attacks "Dark Magician" with "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", but Dark Yugi activates "Dimension Reflector", banishing "Dark Magician" and "Dark Magician Girl", and targeting "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon". Dark Yugi Special Summons "Dimension Reflector" in Attack Position with its ATK and DEF equal to the current ATK of "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" (4500/4500). It was to inflict damage to Kaiba equal to its ATK, but Kaiba activates "Enhanced Counter", reducing the damage to 0 and increasing the ATK of "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" by that amount of damage ("Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon": 4500 → 9000 ATK). A replay occurs, and "Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" attacks and destroys "Dimension Reflector" (Dark Yugi: 4500 → 0 LP).
Aftermath
The simulation ended and one of KaibaCorp's scientist informed Kaiba that the system was working well. However Kaiba was annoyed and thought it had been pointless, since he had not perfectly recreated Dark Yugi.
