Special Duels is a PvP Mode that is periodically available in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. It is essentially a duplicate of Ranked Duels, but with a predetermined custom rule(set) applied to it.
Players must be at Stage 4 or higher in Duel World in order to participate.

Regulation[edit]
Monsters can be Summoned regardless of their Level. (Summoning high-level monsters do not require Tributes)[Notes 1]
Rewards[edit]
Gems were awarded to players for the first time they reached the following Ranks, in this iteration of Ranked Duels:
- Rookie Rank 2: 15 Gems
- Rookie Rank 3: 15 Gems
- Bronze Rank 1: 50 Gems
- Bronze Rank 3: 15 Gems
- Bronze Rank 4: 15 Gems
- Bronze Rank 5: 15 Gems
- Silver Rank 1: 50 Gems
- Gold Rank 1: 50 Gems
- King of Games: 50 Gems
Card Tickets[edit]
The following cards are the possible choices the player had when redeeming a "Special Duels Rewards" Card Ticket from the Special Duels PvP Mode in July 2021. Players had no later than August 31, 2021, 19:59 (EST), to redeem these Card Tickets before they expired.

- ↑ This regulation applied for Normal Summoning Level 5 or higher monsters. Players were unable to conduct any Tribute Summon (or Tribute Set), and despite the regulation's literal interpretation, players could also Normal Set high-Level monsters without Tributing.
