A Stun (similar to anti-meta) deck is built to counteract the most popular decks, such as Blackwings, Lightsworns, Gladiator Beasts etc. Currently most of them involve Special Summoning and removing from play. Cards like Forbidden Chalice can negate the effects of annoying monsters, such as Stardust Dragon. Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo can stop Special Summons. Thunder King Rai-Oh stops cards being added to the hand, and can send itself to the graveyard to negate the special summon of another monster.
