Stun

A Stun (similar to anti-meta) deck is built to counteract the most popular decks, such as Blackwings, Lightsworns, Gladiator Beasts etc. Currently most of them involve Special Summoning and removing from play. Cards like Forbidden Chalice can negate the effects of annoying monsters, such as Stardust Dragon. Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo can stop Special Summons. Thunder King Rai-Oh stops cards being added to the hand, and can send itself to the graveyard to negate the special summon of another monster.Another form of a Stun deck is the Light and Darkness Dragon control. The form of this built revolves around Light and Darkness Dragon for heavy control of the field and gameplay for both players. This pressures the opponent to waste many cards to get rid of Light and Darkness Dragon off the field, while on the other hand the player controlling Light and Darkness Dragon has already four or more cards at hands due to conservative play can do severe damage afterhand, allowing them to win.
