I believe that it has to be either the DT (for Dark Sync's) and Tuner (for Sync's) and the Non-Tuner's and that they cannot be crossed. We will know for sure when Tag Force 4 Comes out, since it will have the Dark Syncs AS actual Dark Sync's. It will also clear up the question surrounding Dark Synchros and Gravity Bind & Level Limit Area B and how Dark Syncs are affected by the Trap/Spell Card.
