"Void", known as "Purgatory" (れんごく, Rengoku) in the Japanese version, is an archetype of cards used by Kalin Kessler in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's manga. These cards either directly support "Infernity" archetype, or have great synergy with it due to requiring the player to have no hand.

Another group of "Void" Spell/Trap Cards exist which support the "Infernoid" archetype. The archetype received its first support in the OCG in Crossed Souls, with the effects of "Void Vanishment" and "Infernoid Devyaty".

"Null and Void" is not a "Void" card because it does not have 「れんごく」 in its Japanese name.
