"Yuma's Greatest Ordeal! Fight to Death, Vegetable Death Match" is the thirtieth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japaon on November 7, 2011.
During the World Duel Carnival, Hosaku Yasai, who risks his life to grow vegetables, shares some food with Yuma, but under the rules of the "Vegetable Death Match", whenever a player attacks, they have to eat a vegetable. And so Yuma starts a Duel with Housaku.

Turn 1
Hosaku activates the Field Spell "Tomato Paradise" from his hand.
Hosaku Normal Summons "Tomato Pawn" (ATK: 1100).
Tomato Paradise's effect activates, allowing Hosaku to Special Summon "Tomatokun" (ATK: 0).
Hosaku activates the Continuous Spell Card "Tomato Catapult", activating its effect to Tribute "Tomatokun" to inflict 400 damage to Yuma (Yuma's LP: 3600).
Turn 2
Yuma Normal Summons "Achacha Archer" (ATK: 1200). Achacha Archer's effect activates, inflicting 500 damage to Hosaku (Hosaku's LP: 3500).
Wanting to attack, Yuma takes a vegetable by chance, but gets one he doesn't want to eat (an odd tomato).
Yuma Sets a card and ends his turn.
Turn 3
Hosaku Normal Summons "Tomato Flowerpot" (ATK: 1000).
Tomato Flowerpot's effect allows Hosaku to Special Summon a second "Tomato Flowerpot".
The effect of "Tomato Paradise" Special Summons two "Tomatokun"s (ATK: 0).
Hosaku activates the Quick-Play Spell Card "Tomato Matrix", giving all "Tomato" monsters 500 ATK.
Hosaku takes and eats a green pepper to attack "Achacha Archer" with "Tomato Pawn" (ATK: 1600). (Yuma's LP: 3200).
"Tomato Flowerpot" attacks directly (Yuma's LP: 1700).
Yuma activates his Set "Heartfelt Appeal", gaining control of the second "Tomato Flowerpot".
Hosaku activates the effect of "Tomato Catapult" Tributing both "Tomatokun" (Yuma's LP: 900).
During Hosaku's End Phase, all "Tomato" monsters' ATK return to normal. (Tomato Flowerpot's ATK: 1000).
Turn 4
Yuma Tributes "Tomato Flowerpot to Tribute Summon "Chacchaka Archer" (ATK: 1200).
Yuma activates the effect of "Chacchaka Archer" to destroy "Tomato Catapult".
Yuma activates the Spell "Blustering Winds" to increase the ATK of "Chacchaka Archer" (ATK: 2200).
Yuma tries to eat another vegetable, but cannot bring himself to.
Yuma Sets a card and ends his turn.

Hosaku
Hosaku Normal Summons "Tomato Flowerpot" (ATK: 1000).
Tomato Paradise's effect activates, allowing Hosaku to Special Summon "Tomatokun" (ATK: 0).
Hosaku uses both "Tomato Flowerpots" and "Tomato Pawn" to Xyz Summon "Tomato Dread King" (ATK: 1600).
Tomato Paradise's effect activates, allowing Hosaku to Special Summon "Tomato Angel" (DEF: 0).
Hosaku activates the effect of "Tomato Dread King", Detaching 1 Xyz Material Monster to double its original ATK (ATK: 3200).
Hosaku attacks "Chacchaka Archer" with "Dread King" destroying it, but Yuma activates his Set "Tricky Summon" reducing damage by 500 (Yuma's LP: 400). "Tricky Summon" also allows Yuma to Special Summon "Gagaga Girl" from his hand (ATK: 1000) and preventing "Dread King" from being destroyed in battle during Yuma's turn.
Turn 6
Yuma Normal Summons "Gagaga Magician" (ATK: 1500).
Yuma activates the effect of "Gagaga Magician", changing its Level to 3.
Yuma takes a tomato and successfully eats it, which means he can attack this turn.
Yuma uses "Gagaga Magician" and "Gagaga Girl" to Xyz Summon "Brass Devil Meromero Melody" (ATK: 1400).
Due to the effect of "Gagaga Girl", the ATK of "Tomato Dread King" becomes 0.
"Brass Fiend Melomelo Melody" attacks "Dread King", but due to the effect of "Tricky Summon", it is not destroyed (Hosaku's LP: 2100).
Yuma activates the effect of "Melomelo Melody", Detaching 1 Xyz Material Monster to attack "Dread King" again.
Yuma eats another tomato and attacks again (Hosaku's LP: 700).
Yuma activates the effect of "Melomelo Melody", Detaching 1 Xyz Material Monster to attack "Dread King" again (Hosaku's LP: 0).
