Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

  • In episode 170, Sartorius places this card in Jaden Yuki's Deck when he asked to check it to make sure none of his cards got infected by darkness. During Jaden and Sartorius' duel, Sartorius forces Jaden to Special Summon this card from his Deck via "Decisive Power of Absolute Destiny". Shortly after that, it spun and got the Heads effect and this meant that none of Jaden's card effects can affect or target it. Sartorius then uses the third effect of this card to make "Tour of Doom" land right side up and prevent Jaden from summoning any monsters until the end of his turn. After Sartorius Normal Summons "Arcana Force III - The Empress", he uses this card's third effect to make "The Empress" land right-side up. "The Empress" and "Arcana Force VII - The Chariot" then attack this card. The latter card wasn't destroyed, but Jaden still takes Battle Damage. On Jaden's next Standby Phase, Sartorius uses this card's third effect to make "Tour of Doom" land right-side up. Jaden then tries to activate "Neospace Wave" to send this card to the Graveyard and Special Summon a "Neo-Spacian", but was unsuccessful. He then tries to switch this card to Defense Position, but this card's effect forbade that. Sartorius then uses "The Chariot" to attack this card, but Jaden activates "Negate Attack" to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. Sartorius then activates "Sowing of the Fool" and targets "The Chariot" for its effect. Sartorius then uses this card's third effect to make "Sowing of the Fool" land upside down, so Jaden is forced to send the top five cards of his Deck to the Graveyard. In the next episode, Sartorius uses this card's effect to make "Tour of Doom" land right-side up during Jaden's Standby Phase. Later "The Chariot" attacks this card, but Jaden activates "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh" to Special Summon "Winged Kuriboh". He then activates "Transcendent Wings" to send "Winged Kuriboh" to the Graveyard and Special Summon "Winged Kuriboh LV10" which he then tributes to destroy both of Sartorius' monsters and inflict their combined ATK as damage to him. After Sartorius Normal Summons "Arcana Force VI - The Lovers", he uses this card's third effect to make "The Lovers" to land right-side up. After Sartorius Special Summons "Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler", he uses this card's third effect to make "The Dark Ruler" land right-side up. Sartorius then activates the effect of "Sowing of the Fool" and targets "The Dark Ruler" for its effect. Sartorius then uses this card's third effect to make "Sowing of the Fool" land upside down, which forces Jaden to send thirteen cards from the top of his Deck to the Graveyard. On Jaden's next Standby Phase, Sartorius uses this card's third effect to make "Tour of Doom" land right-side up. Later "Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler" attacks this card, but Jaden activates "A Hero Emerges" to make Sartorius select a random card from Jaden's hand. Jaden only had one card in his hand, so Sartorius is forced to select it. The card is revealed to be "Miracle Flipper", which Jaden then Special Summons. Due to the effect of "Miracle Flipper", the attack is redirected to "Miracle Flipper" instead, destroying it. The first effect of "Miracle Flipper" then activates, reviving itself to Sartorius' side of the field. Sartorius then uses "The Dark Ruler" to attack this card again, but Jaden banishes "Necro Gardna" from his Graveyard to negate the attack. Jaden then activates "Hero Blast" to add "Elemental HERO Sparkman" to his hand and destroy "Miracle Flipper". The second effect of "Miracle Flipper" then activates, destroying this card (the effect was mandatory, so Sartorius had no choice). Later Sartorius activates "Arcana Call" to banish this card from Jaden's Graveyard and grant "The Dark Ruler" this card's upside down effects until the End Phase.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Jaden has when he realizes that Sartorius must have slipped this card into his Deck when he was checking it.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown a flashback Jaden has when he explains "The Dark Ruler" attacked and destroyed "Miracle Flipper" instead of this card.
  • In episode 172, the darkness from this card infected Jaden's "Polymerization", thus causing him to feel weak after he escaped from the Kaiba Corporation tower. When he saw Jesse Anderson, he saw him as Trueman due to the darkness affecting his mind. As such Jesse had to duel Jaden to snap him out of it. After "Elemental HERO Tempest" was destroyed in battle by "Rainbow Dragon", the force of the attack was strong enough to blow "Polymerization" out of Jaden's Graveyard. When this happened, "Polymerization" was purified of the darkness that was infecting it, thus removing the spell that was on Jaden. Jaden then saw that he was dueling Jesse not Trueman and as such the duel was called off, ending it with no result.
    • This card is also shown in a flashback Jaden has when he realizes his "Polymerization" must have been tainted by the darkness within this card.
