Yu-Gi-Oh![edit]

Anime[edit]

Duelist Kingdom[edit]

  • In episode 3, Joey Wheeler trades for this card on the boat to Duelist Kingdom, contrary to how he obtained it in the manga. Joey later shows Yugi Muto the cards he got from trading with the passengers on the boat and this card is shown among the cards Joey shows.
  • In episode 6, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Mai Valentine. He summons this card in Attack Position. On the last turn of the Duel, Joey summons "Time Wizard" and activates its effect. Joey succeeds in the effect, so the effect of "Time Wizard" transforms this card into "Thousand Dragon". This also ages Mai's "Harpie Lady Sisters" and decreases their ATK to 1300.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Joey has when he remembers Yugi giving him the "Time Wizard" card during the ride to Duelist Kingdom as well as Yugi saying to him there are some things that you can see that can't actually be seen.
  • In episode 11, Joey used this card during his duel against Rex Raptor. He summons this card in Defense Position and intended to play "Time Wizard" on his next turn to turn this card into "Thousand Dragon". "Two-Headed King Rex" then attacks and destroys this card.
    • This card also appears in Joey's thoughts when he thinks of the strategy that might help him defeat Rex. This card also appeared in a flashback Joey has when he remembers the combo he used to beat Mai and believes it can probably help him win again.
  • In episode 18, this card appears within a series of flashbacks Joey has when he remembers all the times that "Time Wizard" gave him a miraculous win.
  • In episode 32, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Bandit Keith. After Joey summons this card, he summons "Time Wizard" and activates its effect. Joey succeeds in the effect of "Time Wizard" and this enables him to transform this card into "Thousand Dragon" and decrease the ATK and DEF of "Barrel Dragon" by 800.
  • In episode 34, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Yugi Muto. After Joey summons this card, Yugi figured that Joey was planning to summon "Thousand Dragon". "Dark Magician" then attacks this card, but Joey activates "Kunai with Chain" to negate the attack made by "Dark Magician". Later Joey activates the effect of "Time Wizard" and succeeds in the effect of "Time Wizard", so the latter's effect transforms this card into "Thousand Dragon", but this also transforms "Dark Magician" into "Dark Sage" who was stronger than "Dark Magician" instead of weaker.

Battle City[edit]

  • In episode 59, Joey uses this card during his duel against Espa Roba. After he summons this card, Joey summons "Time Wizard" and activates its effect. Joey succeeds in the effect, so this card is transformed into "Thousand Dragon". Joey intended for the effect of "Time Wizard" to weaken Espa's "Jinzo", however "Jinzo" was completely unaffected by the effect of "Time Wizard" due to its special armor.

Virtual World[edit]

  • In episode 110, this card is one of the five monsters Joey summoned to keep Gansley, Crump, Johnson, and Leichter busy while he, Serenity, Duke, and Tristan try to escape. This card is destroyed by Leichter (who was in the form of "Jinzo").
  • In episode 111, this card can be seen when Yami Yugi and Joey were building their Virtual World Decks for their Duel against the Big Five.

Battle City Finals[edit]

  • In episode 125, this card is seen in Joey's hand during his Duel against Yami Marik. In the next episode, Joey summons this card in Defense Position. After Joey summons "Jinzo" via "Question", its effect activates, destroying all of Yami Marik's Traps. Joey then switches this card and "Panther Warrior" to Attack Position. After "Jinzo" attacks and destroys "Legendary Fiend", Joey uses this card and "Rocket Warrior" to attack directly, but Yami Marik activates "Dark Wall of Wind" to reduce the Battle Damage he would take from direct attacks this turn to 0. Later Yami Marik Tributes this card and "Jinzo" in order to Special Summon "Lava Golem" on Joey's side of the field.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback that Yami Marik has while he was trying to figure out what was the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard. After his assumption with "Alligator's Sword" was wrong, he deduced that the first monster that went to Joey's Graveyard must have been a card that his "Helpoemer" randomly discarded from Joey's hand.
  • In episode 136, Joey uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. He summons this card in Defense Position. On Joey's next turn, he summons "Time Wizard" and activates its effect. Joey succeeds in the effect of "Time Wizard", so Joey transforms this card into "Thousand Dragon". Before the effect of "Time Wizard" could affect "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", Kaiba activates "Interdimensional Matter Transporter" to banish "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" until the End Phase. On Joey's End Phase, "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" returned to the field.

Waking the Dragons[edit]

  • In episode 161, this card is shown in a series of flashbacks that Joey has when he recalls all of the hardship that he endured in the past and explains to Rex that anybody who loses so many times should keep trying and never give up.

Grand Championship[edit]

  • In episode 186, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against the KC DuelTek 760 while the former was using Rick's Deck. He summons this card in Defense Position. "Jinzo" then attacks and destroys this card.

Capsule Monsters[edit]

  • Baby Dragon was one of Joey's capsule monsters and was the first Capsule Monster Joey obtained.

Manga[edit]

  • In the original manga, "Baby Dragon" was a Level 4 monster. The card was originally used by Yugi in his first duel against Pegasus. It was later given to Jonouchi shortly before the Duelist Kingdom Tournament, along with Time Wizard to be used in combination with each other.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[edit]

  • In episode 1, this card is shown being used by an unknown person when we see people trying to pass the entrance exams by Dueling examiners.
