In episode 56, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Seeker. He summons this card via "Polymerization". In the next episode, Yugi uses this card to attack and destroy "Stone Statue of the Aztecs". On Yugi's next turn, he Tributes this card in order to Tribute Summon "Summoned Skull". Later Yugi activates "Monster Reborn" to revive this card. This card then attacks and destroys "Exodia the Forbidden One". This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown on Kaiba's monitor while he and his workers were observing the Duel between Yami Yugi and Seeker.

In episode 99, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Gansley. He summons this card via "Polymerization". Yugi then activates "Quick Attack" to allow this card to attack the turn it was summoned. This card then attacks "Ipiria", but Gansley Tributes "Ipiria" and "Ashingray" in order to activate the Deck Master Ability of his "Deepsea Warrior", negating the attack and inflicting damage to Yugi equal to this card's ATK. In the next episode, this card was still face-up on the field, but Yugi didn't use this card to attack as he only had 1900 Life Points. In the following episode, Gansley activates "Offerings to the Doomed" to destroy this card. Yugi then activates this card's effect to Special Summon "Berfomet" from the Graveyard.
- In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he notes he can't attack with this card again as Gansley will use his Deck Master's ability to negate the attack and inflict damage to Yugi equal to the ATK of this card.

In episode 103, Yugi uses this card while going through a door puzzle. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys the Level 3 door monster, "Dark King of the Abyss".

In episode 156, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Rafael. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks Rafael's set monster. The set monster is then revealed to be "Backup Gardna". Since the latter monster's DEF was higher than this card's ATK, the attack fails. Later "Guardian Grarl" (whose ATK was 3000 due to "Gravity Axe - Grarl") then attacks and destroys this card. Yami Yugi then uses this card's effect to summon "Berfomet" from the Graveyard.

In episode 163, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yugi. He summons this card via "Polymerization". After "Alpha The Magnet Warrior" attacks and destroys Yugi's set "Sangan", this card attacks directly. Later "Dark Magician Girl" (whose ATK was 2500 due to "The Seal of Orichalcos") attacks and destroys this card. Yami Yugi then uses this card's effect to summon "Berfomet" from the Graveyard.

In episode 164, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against an Orichalcos Soldier. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys "Orichalcos Gigas" (whose ATK was 900 due to its own effect), but the soldier uses the effect of "Orichalcos Gigas" to make it come back even stronger (which made its ATK 1400). "Orichalcos Gigas" then attacks this card. This card then destroys "Orichalcos Gigas", but the soldier uses the effect of "Orichalcos Gigas" to make it come back even stronger (which made its ATK 1900). On the soldier's next turn, "Orichalcos Gigas" (whose ATK was 2400 at this point) attacks and destroys this card. Yami Yugi then uses this card's effect to Special Summon "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" from the Graveyard.
- This is the only time "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" is Special Summoned through this card's effect. In all other instances, this card's effect is used to Special Summon "Berfomet".

In episode 175, this card appears in a flashback Yami Yugi has when he remembers Yugi telling him that in order to understand another person's pain, he must share the burden of their darkness.

In episode 196, Yugi uses this card during his duel against Leon von Schroeder. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys "Forest Wolf". After Leon Special Summons "Forest Hunter" through the effect of "Little Red Riding Hood", Leon activates the effect of "Forest Hunter" to banish this card from the field.

In episode 223, Yami Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yugi. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys "Alpha the Magnet Warrior". Later "Buster Blader" attacks and destroys this card. Yami Yugi then activates this card's effect to Special Summon "Berfomet" from the Graveyard.

In episode 18, Dimitri uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki while the former was using Yugi's Deck. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys "Elemental Hero Burstinatrix". Later Jaden activates the effect of "Elemental Hero Thunder Giant" to destroy this card. Dimitri then activates this card's effect to Special Summon "Berfomet" from the Graveyard.
- This card is also shown when Dimitri is shown looking through Yugi's Deck.

In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2011 Special: Yugi vs. Yusei, Yugi Fusion Summons this card with the "Berfomet" and "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" in his hand. It attacks and destroys Yusei's "Speed Warrior". The next turn, Yusei summons "Junk Warrior" to attack and destroy "Chimera", and "Chimera's" own effect Special Summons "Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts" from the Graveyard.

In the duel between Yugi Muto and Leon von Schroeder, in the Spanish dub of the anime, this card was mistakenly named "Chimera la Bestia Mecanica Voladora" ("Chimera the Flying Mechanical Beast").
