• In episode 2, Chazz Princeton uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He Normal Summons this card in Attack Position. After "Elemental HERO Flame Wingman" (who Chazz took control of via "Chthonian Polymer") attacks and destroys "Elemental HERO Clayman", this card attacks directly. Later "Elemental Hero Sparkman" attacks and destroys this card. This activates this card's effect, inflicting damage to Jaden equal to the Battle Damage Chazz took. Later Chazz activates "Call of the Haunted" to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. He then Tributes this card in order to Tribute Summon "Mefist the Infernal General".

• In episode 12, Chazz uses this card during his Duel against Bastion Misawa. He Summons this card on the first turn of the duel. Bastion's "Hydrogeddon" then attacks and destroys this card. This activates this card's effect, inflicting damage to Bastion equal to the damage Chazz took. Bastion then activates the effect of "Hydrogeddon" to Special Summon another "Hydrogeddon" from his Deck. The second "Hydrogeddon" then attacks Chazz directly. Chazz then activates "Call of the Haunted" to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. He then activates "Inferno Reckless Summon" to Special Summon two more copies of this card while Bastion uses the effect of "Inferno Reckless Summon" to Special Summon a third "Hydrogeddon". Chazz then equips one copy of this card with "Chthonian Alliance", increasing its attack by 800 for each copy of it on the field. With three copies on the field, the "Chthonian Alliance"-equipped copy gains 2400 ATK. Chazz then uses the "Chthonian Alliance"-equipped copy to attack and destroy one "Hydrogeddon". Bastion then uses "Oxygeddon" to attack and destroy one of the weaker copies. Due to the effect of this card, Bastion takes damage equal to the Battle Damage Chazz took. Bastion then uses one of the two remaining "Hydrogeddon" to attack and destroy the last weak copy. Due to the effect of this card, Bastion takes damage equal to the Battle Damage Chazz took. By getting rid of the weaker copies, the "Chthonian Alliace"-equipped copy had its ATK decreased to 2000. Later Chazz Tributes his remaining copy in order to Tribute Summon "Infernal Incinerator".

• In episode 46, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Jaden has when he notes he didn't meet "Winged Kuriboh" or his friends a year ago, but then he notes that making friends is just like alchemy.

• Chazz called this card "Infernal Warrior" once during his duel with Jaden.

• In the original, this card's attack was called Hell Attack, while in the dub it was called Wind Storm Slash.
