Battle City[edit]

Virtual World[edit]

  • In episode 118, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Noah Kaiba. After "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" attacks and destroys "Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi", Yugi activates this card to return "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" from his Graveyard.
    • This is the only time in the DM series where this card was not used on a monster to avoid/stop an attack and the only time in the DM series where this card was used in the same way it would be used in the real card game.

Battle City Finals[edit]

  • In episode 134, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Kaiba. After "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" attacks "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and Yugi activates "Magic Formula" to equip the latter to "Dark Paladin", Kaiba activates "Absorb Spell" to change the target of "Magic Formula" to "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon", increasing the latter's ATK by 500. Yugi then activates this card to return "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon Kaiba's three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" from the Graveyard. A replay then occurs and Kaiba chooses not to attack.
  • In episode 138, this card is shown in Yami Yugi's hand during his Duel against Yami Marik. Yami Marik takes this card from Yugi's hand when the latter activates "Exchange". In the next episode, "The Winged Dragon of Ra" attacks directly, but Yami Yugi activates "Fiend's Sanctuary" to Special Summon a "Metal Fiend Token". Due to the effect of the Metal Fiend Token, the Battle Damage that Yami Yugi would take will be inflicted to Yami Marik instead. Yami Marik then activates this card to separate himself from "The Winged Dragon of Ra", increase his Life Points by the ATK of "Ra", decrease the ATK of "Ra" to 0, and stop the attack that would have made him lose the Duel.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card also appears in a flashback Yami Marik has when he explains to Yami Yugi that he used this card to avoid losing the Duel and when he explains how he got this card from Yugi.

Waking the Dragons[edit]

  • In episode 157, this card can be seen in Yami Yugi's hand during his Duel against Rafael.

When "Dragon Master Knight" attacks directly via "Reflect Energy", Dartz activates the second effect of "Orichalcos Deuteros" to Tribute "Orichalcos Gigas" and destroy "Dragon Master Knight". Yami Yugi then activates this card to return "Dragon Master Knight" to the Extra Deck and Special Summon "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" and "Black Luster Soldier" from the Graveyard. This negates the second effect of "Orichalcos Deuteros" since "Dragon Master Knight" was removed from the field.
