  • In episode 30, Jaden Yuki uses this card during his Duel against Nightshroud. He summons this card via "Polymerization". Jaden then activates "Skyscraper" as part of his winning move. This card then attacks the "Half Token" (whose ATK was 3300). Due to the effect of "Skyscraper", this card gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. This card then destroys the token. This card then attacks "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon" (whose ATK was 3300 due to its own effect and the effect of "Wild Half"). Due to the effect of "Skyscraper", this card gains 1000 ATK during damage calculation only. This card then destroys "Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon". This card then attacks and destroys "Spear Dragon", winning Jaden the Duel.
  • In episode 51, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Zane Truesdale. He summons this card via "Polymerization". This card then attacks and destroys all three of Zane's "Cyber Dragons" thanks to its own effect. In the next episode, "Cyber End Dragon" (who was powered up by the effect of "Power Bond") attacks this card, but Jaden activates "Soul Union" to target "Bladedge" and increase this card's ATK by the ATK of "Bladedge". Jaden then activates "Emergency Provisions" to send "Soul Union" to the Graveyard and gain 1000 Life Points. "Cyber End Dragon" then destroys this card, but thanks to Jaden's strategy, he was able to survive the attack with only 100 Life Points remaining. Jaden then activates "Hero Signal" to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" from his Deck.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Jaden has when he remembers that he used "Emergency Provisions" to send "Soul Union" to the Graveyard and save himself from losing the Duel (this was to explain how Jaden survived "Cyber End Dragon's" attack with only 100 Life Points).
  • In episode 89, this card appears in a flashback Atticus has when he notes to Zane in his mind that he was once possessed by Nightshroud and trapped in the depths of darkness until he was rescued by Jaden and his friends.
  • In episode 119, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Thelonious Viper. He summons this card via "Miracle Fusion". This card then attacks and destroys "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes". Jaden intended for Viper to revive "Venominon" through its own effect (which would allow Jaden to initiate an infinite loop that would allow him to win the Duel), but Viper activates "Rise of the Snake Deity" to Special Summon "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes". Due to the latter's effect, it gains 3000 ATK (500 for each Reptile-type monster in Viper's Graveyard). On Jaden's End Phase, "Venom Swamp" places a Venom Counter on this card and decreases this card's ATK by 500. "Vennominaga" then attacks and destroys this card. This activates the effect of "Vennominaga" and Viper explains that due to this effect, he will win the Duel in two turns. On the last turn of the Duel, Jaden activates "Fifth Hope" to return this card, "Elemental HERO Avian", "Elemental HERO Sparkman", "Elemental HERO Bubbleman", and "Elemental HERO Clayman" from his Graveyard to his Deck and draw three cards.
  • In episode 123, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Fonda Fontaine while the latter was a Duel Ghoul. He summons this card via "Flash Fusion". The effect of "Dark Cure" then activates, increasing Jaden's Life Points by half of this card's ATK. This card then attacks directly, winning Jaden the duel.
  • In episode 147, Jaden uses this card during his Duel against Guardian Baou. He activates "Revoke Fusion" to send this card from his Extra Deck to the Graveyard and Special Summon "Elemental Hero Bladedge" from his hand.
  • Its attack name in the Japanese version is Infinity Edge Slicer, while in the English dub, its attack is called Scimitar Slash.
