- In episode 10, Shark uses this card during his Duel against Yuma Tsukumo. After he Normal Summons this card, Shark Special Summons "Shark Stickers" via its own effect. He then overlays this card and "Shark Stickers" in order to Xyz Summon "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". Shark then detaches this card in order to activate the effect of "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark". Later "Number 39: Utopia" attacks "Submersible Carrier Aero Shark, but Shark activates this card's second effect to negate the attack and reduce the ATK of "Utopia" by 500 by banishing this card from the Graveyard. Shark then activates "Fish Rain" to Special Summon "Big Jaws".
- This card also appears in Astral's thoughts when he explains that "Monster Reborn" can revive a monster in either player's Graveyard and had Yuma used "Monster Reborn" to revive this card and subsequently used the effect of "Gagaga Magician" to make it Level 3, he would have been able to Xyz Summon "Number 17: Leviathan Dragon", which would have made Shark unable to use this card's second effect.
- In episode 141, Nash uses this card during his Duel against Yuma. He sends this card from his hand to the Graveyard in order to activate "Card of Ascension". Two episodes later. "Number 39: Utopia" attacks "Black Ray Lancer", but Nash activates this card's second effect to negate the attack and reduce the ATK of "Utopia" by 500 by banishing this card from the Graveyard.
