Card Appearances:Gandora the Dragon of Destruction
- In episode 217, Yugi Muto uses this card during his Duel against Yami Bakura. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Marshmallon" and "Silent Magician LV0". In the next episode, Yugi pays half of his Life Points in order to activate this card's effect, destroying and banishing all of Yami Bakura's monsters. This card was then destroyed shortly after due to its last effect. This activates the final effect of "Spirit Sword of Sealing", destroying itself and Special Summoning the banished "Silent Swordsman LV0".
- In the original version of the second above-mentioned episode, after this monster's effect successfully resolved, Téa Gardner thinks to herself that this monster is meant to represent Yugi's parting with Yami Yugi.
- In episode 224, Yugi uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing two "Block Tokens" created from the effect of "Blockman". Yugi then pays half of his Life Points to activate this card's effect, destroying and banishing "Dark Magician", but Yami Yugi activates "Dark Illusion" to render "Dark Magician" immune to Effect Monster effects and destruction by battle until the End Phase. Because of that, Yugi's attempt failed. This card was then destroyed and sent to the Graveyard due to its last effect. Due to the second effect of "Dark Illusion", Yugi was allowed to draw one card.
- This card also appears in a flashback Téa has when she remembers this card as the same card that Yugi used to help him defeat Yami Bakura.
- In the manga, Dark Yugi played "Mirror Force" instead, to reflect the effect back to "Gandora", destroying it.
- Gandora's signature move is "Giga Rays of Destruction" (though it has also been called "Boundless Giga Rays"). In the Japanese version it's called "Destroy Giga Rays".
