- In episode 27, Gravekeeper's Chief uses this card during his Duel against Jaden Yuki. He summons this card in Attack Position. The chief then Flip Summons "Gravekeeper's Guard". The latter's effect then activates, returning "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" from his Graveyard to his hand. This card and "Gravekeeper's Guard" then attack directly. Later "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" attacks and destroys this card. "Flame Wingman" then inflicts damage to the Chief equal to this card's ATK. In the next episode, the Chief revives via the effect of "Gravekeeper's Chief". This card then gains 500 ATK due to the effect of "Necrovalley". After "Gravekeeper's Chief" attacks directly and Jaden activates "Draining Shield" to negate the attack and increase his Life Points by the ATK of "Gravekeeper's Chief", this card and "Gravekeeper's Curse" attack directly. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over.
- In the second-mentioned episode, this card appeared in a flashback Jaden has when he reminds the Chief on him using "Royal Tribute" to force Jaden to discard all monsters in his hand.
- In episode 29, this card appears in a series of flashbacks Jaden has when he remembers his previous experiences with actual Shadow Games.
