In episode 164, this card can be seen in Syrus Truesdale's thoughts when he explains to Makoto Inotsume that he, Zane, and Jaden Yuki will continue to grow despite the odds and his Deck will also keep searching for ways to evolve better.

In episode 173, this card was shown in Atticus Rhodes' hand during his Duel against Yusuke Fujiwara. In the next episode, Atticus Normal Summons this card in Attack Position, but since this card was a DARK monster, the effect of "Clear World" forbade Atticus from attacking. Later "Clear Rage Golem" (whose ATK was 0 due to it being revived via "Nihilistic Summoning Technique") attacks this card. The effect of "Attribute Mastery" then activates, destroying this card. The effect of "Attribute Bomb" then activates, inflicting 1000 damage to Atticus. Later Atticus activates "Dark Factory of Mass Production" to add this card and "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" from his Graveyard to his hand. In reality, everything after the summoning of "Clear Vice Dragon" was all merely in Atticus' mind as Yusuke was trying to find Atticus' darkness.

In episode 27, this card is shown being used during a Ground Duel between two people. After this card's controller Normal Summons this card, his opponent activates "Threatening Roar" to prevent him from attacking this turn.
