This card changed the Type of any Spellcaster to Warrior, as opposed to specifically Tributing "Dark Magician" to Special Summon "Dark Magician Knight".
Virtual World[edit]
- In episode 112, this card can be seen in Joey Wheeler's hand during his Tag Duel with Yami Yugi against the Big Five. In the next episode, Joey activates this card to transform Yugi's "Dark Magician" into "Dark Magician Knight".
Scripted Duels[edit]
Despite Scripted Duels being based off the anime, this card uses its TCG/OCG effect.
- In the non-canon duel North American WCQ 2014 Special: Astral vs. Yugi, Yugi draws this card by the effect of "Kuribandit". The same turn, Yugi activates this card, Tributing "Dark Magician" to Special Summon "Dark Magician Knight" from the Main Deck.
