• The card that Kaiba played in the manga was actually "Dark Energy". However, by the time this episode debuted, "Dark Energy" had already been released in the OCG with a different effect, so this card was created to replace it.

• On the first airing of this episode's dub, this card was erroneously given the same artwork as "Negative Energy". This error was later corrected on retransmissions.

• In Yu-Gi-Oh! episode 0011: "The Heart of the Cards", Seto Kaiba uses this card during his Duel against Yami Yugi. He activates this card to triple the ATK of "Saggi the Dark Clown" in order to make it more powerful than Yugi's "Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress".
