"Speed World 2":
  • This card is used in all Turbo Duels starting from the WRPG arc of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's.
    • Also, like the previous Speed World, the anime lore says you take 2000 damage for activating a non-speed spell spell card, however it has been established more than once in the anime that Normal Spell cards cannot be activated in Turbo Duels.
  • Lester is shown to possess a real card version instead of the virtual version that's usually used at the start of a Turbo Duel.

Pre-World Racing Grand Prix[edit]

  • In episode 65, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Tetsu Trudge and Ghost. After Trudge gets four Speed Counters, he activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Ghost for each Speed Spell in his hand. Since Trudge has two, Ghost takes 1600 damage. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Ghost won. Later this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei Fudo and Ghost. In the next episode, Yusei activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card ("Majestic Dragon"). This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Yusei won.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown when Trudge explains the rulings for the World Racing Grand Prix that is going to be held soon as well as how dueling has changed since the integration of New Domino City and Satellite.
  • In episode 71, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Sherry LeBlanc. In the next episode, Yusei manages to destroy Sherry's "Chevalier de Fleur", however the strategy he used was a bit reckless as that left Yusei with 100 Life Points. Sherry warns Yusei if she draws a Speed Spell, she can activate this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Yusei for each Speed Spell in her hand. Sherry conducts her Draw Phase, but she draws "Sacred Knight's Shield-Bearer". Sherry then Normal Summons "Sacred Knight's Shield-Bearer". She then activates the latter monster's effect to banish "Sacred Knight's Spearholder" from her Graveyard and draw one card, however Sherry draws "Liberty at Last!". On Yusei's next turn, he activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card. Later when Yusei activates "Speed Spell - High Speed Crash", Sherry assumes Yusei is going to use "Speed Spell - High Speed Crash" to destroy his set card and "Noble Knight Joan", but she notes in her mind that when "Noble Knight Joan" is destroyed by a card effect, she can add a Speed Spell Card from her Graveyard to her hand which will assure her victory. Yusei, however, uses "High Speed Crash" to destroy "Speed Warrior" and his own set card (which surprises Sherry initially). Yusei then activates "Starlight Road" to negate the effect of "High Speed Crash" and destroy it as well as Synchro Summon "Stardust Dragon". The Duel, at this point, prematurely ends due to Boss and his men throwing down a truck to crush Sherry, Yusei, and Akiza.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Sherry's mind when she tells Yusei he shouldn't have done a reckless move that left him with only 100 Life Points as she can now win by using the effect of "Speed World 2" to remove 4 Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Yusei for each Speed Spell in her hand.
  • In episode 73, this card appeared in Yusei Fudo's nightmare which involved a Turbo Duel between himself and an unknown opponent. Aside from being on the field, this card played no actual part in the Duel. Right after Yusei summons "Stardust Dragon", his opponent transforms into Ghost while "Tiger Dragon" is replaced with "Meklord Emperor Wisel" and its Wisel parts. Right after "Stardust Dragon" gets fully absorbed by "Meklord Emperor Wisel", Yusei wakes up from his nightmare. This card was later used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Jack Atlas. This card remained on the field until Jack called the Duel off as Yusei was in no condition to continue the Duel. This card was later used for the Turbo Duel between Primo and Dobocle. This card remained on the field until the end of the Duel where Primo won.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Crow has when Yusei reminds him about the former's Turbo Duel against Ghost and "Meklord Emperor Wisel's" ability to absorb Synchro Monsters.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes to himself that he was lucky that "Majestic Dragon" saved him from losing.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Akiza Izinski has when she wonders what Yusei felt from the Duel with Sherry. She notes to herself that she needs to know more about Turbo Duels.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he remembers that Jack told him his current idea for not using Synchro Monsters in a Duel was weak. Yusei notes if he doesn't use Synchro Summons, he can't unleash the true power of his Deck.
  • In episode 74, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Vizor. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Yusei won.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he wonders to himself if there is a new strategy that can defeat "Meklord Emperor Wisel".
    • This card also appears in a flashback Akiza has when she wonders to herself about Turbo Duelists understanding each other even if they had met each other for the first time and remembers Sherry saying a similar thing during her Duel against Yusei.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Primo has when he recognizes Yusei as the one who defeated Ghost.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Akiza has when she sees that Yusei is having fun in his Duel against Vizor even though it looks like he is on the verge of losing. She also noticed that it was similar to when Yusei dueled Sherry and when Yusei used a reckless strategy that brought his Life Points down to 100.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he questions himself if consecutive attacks by two Synchro Monsters is the battle technique that will defeat "Meklord Emperor Wisel".
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he realizes that an Accel Synchro Summon is the strategy that can defeat "Meklord Emperor Wisel".
    • This card also appears in a flashback Yusei has when he makes note of the power of Accel Synchro Summon. Yusei then vows to overcome his limits.
  • In episode 75, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Akiza Izinski and Tetsu Trudge. When Akiza first tried to activate "Speed Spell - Summon Speeder", her Duel Runner wouldn't allow her to as she had no Speed Counters. She was later able to play it on the final turn of the Duel. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Akiza won. By doing so, she obtained her Turbo Duel license.
    • This card also appeared in a flashback Akiza has when she remembers Sherry telling her that the speed and wind informed her about the rumblings in Yusei's heart.
  • In episode 77, this card was used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Akiza. The result of the Duel is not shown and the Duel was used to help Akiza get the hang of riding a Duel Runner. Lester was disappointed with the Duel because the Grand Design didn't activate even though it was two Signers Dueling against each other. Later, this card was used for the Turbo Duel between Lester and Leo and Luna. In the next episode, Lester activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card. After "Meklord Emperor Skiel" attacks Leo directly via the effect of "Skiel Attack 5", Leo loses the Duel and this card's effects no longer applies to him. The attack would have killed Leo, but thanks to the Crimson Dragon, Leo is saved (The Three Pure Nobles were surprised the Crimson Dragon would save Leo because they knew Leo wasn't a Signer). This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Lester won.
  • In episode 79, this card appears in the following flashbacks that Yusei has:
    • When Yusei notes that he won't be able to defeat Ghost and his "Meklord Emperor Wisel" if he can't go at an incredibly fast speed that would allow him to Accel Synchro Summon.
    • When Yusei tells his friends that he heard the name Iliaster recently from Sherry.
    • When Yusei tells his friends that Accel Synchro Summon is the only way they can defeat Ghost.
    • When Yusei tells his friends that Vizor performed an Accel Synchro Summon when the bright light occurred.
  • In episode 83, this card was used for the Turbo Duel between Jack and the Fake Jack Atlas. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where the Fake Jack won.
    • This card also appears in a flashback explained by Bruno. Yusei, Jack, and Crow were doing tag riding training for the WRGP. Jack was using this card during his practice Turbo Duel against a hologram Turbo Duelist. After Jack won the Duel, Crow and Yusei scolded Jack for not using "Trust Guardian" even though it was in his hand. Jack claims that "Trust Guardian" does not fit his battling style and after an argument with Yusei, Crow, and Bruno, Jack leaves without another word.
  • In episode 84, this card was used for the Turbo Duel between Jack and the Fake Jack Atlas. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where the real Jack won.
  • In episode 89, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Lawton. By the end of the fourth turn, Yusei was left with 800 Life Points remaining. Lawton warns Yusei if he gets a Speed Spell, then he can use this card's effect to remove 4 Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Yusei. If he gets a Trap Card, he will set it and use the effect of "Gatling Ogre" to send the set card to the Graveyard and inflict 800 damage to Yusei. In the next episode, Lawton conducts his Draw Phase, but he draws "Big Cannon Ogre". This card remained on the field until the Duel ended with no result.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes in his mind that Lawton will defeat him if he sets a card next turn.
  • In episode 91, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he remembers using "Effect Veiler" in his Turbo Duel against Lawton to negate the effects of "Gatling Ogre" and save himself from an FTK.
  • In episode 94, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Crow and Bolton. In the next episode, Crow activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Crow won.
  • In episode 96, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Andre. In the next episode, Yusei activates this card's effect, removing 4 Speed Counters to inflict 800 damage to Andre for each Speed Spell in his hand. Yusei reveals "Speed Spell - Final Attack", so Andre takes 800 damage, however this card's effect doesn't resolve as Team Unicorn's practice time ends at this point, therefore the Duel ends with no result. Despite this, Breo and Jean were able to get a look at some of Yusei's strategies.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Jean has when he notes that Yusei knew the effect of "Junk Archer" would only temporarily banish "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest" which was why he had a Trap Card ready.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Jean has when he figures out that Andre attacked with "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest" first because he knew he wouldn't be able to revive "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest" through its own effect if "Junk Archer" destroyed "Behemoth the King of All Animals" due to the former being powered up by the effect of "Chain Arrow".
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he explains to Leo and Luna that he didn't actually nearly win as Andre still had a set card and he most likely was going to use it to counter against this card's effect had the Duel not been canceled.

World Racing Grand Prix[edit]

  • In episode 98, this card is used for the match between Team 5D's and Team Unicorn. The first round was between Andre and Jack. On the final turn of the Duel, Andre activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Jack for each Speed Spell in his hand. Andre reveals "Speed Spell - The End of the Storm", so Jack takes 800 damage which depletes the remainder of Jack's Life Points and defeats him. In the next episode, Andre takes the moment where Jack is struggling to get up and pass the baton to Akiza to accumulate more Speed Counters. After taking twelve laps, Andre gets a total of twelve Speed Counters and proceeds in taking more laps because for each lap he completes, Jack will lose one Speed Counter. If Jack's Speed Counters hit 0, Team 5D's is automatically disqualified. Andre manages to complete three laps and leaves Jack with one Speed Counter. After a moment of struggling, Jack finally manages to give the baton to Akiza, allowing her to proceed forward and Duel Andre. Akiza is able to outrace Andre by getting to the corner first before him, thus keeping Team 5D's in the match. On the final turn of the Duel, Andre activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Akiza for each Speed Spell in his hand. Andre reveals "The End of the Storm", but Akiza activates "Wicked Rebirth" to pay 800 Life Points and Special Summon "Stardust Dragon" from the Graveyard. This makes Akiza lose, but she was able to keep "Stardust Dragon" on the field and make Andre waste four of his Speed Counters. Akiza then passes the baton to Yusei who proceeds forward in Dueling Andre. In the following episode, this card remained on the field until Yusei defeated Andre. Andre then passes the baton to Breo who proceeds in Dueling Yusei. Later Breo activates this card's effect to remove ten Speed Counters and destroy "Voltic Bicorn". This activates the latter's effect, forcing both players to send the top seven cards of their Deck to the Graveyard. In the next episode, Yusei defeats Breo by changing his battling style, however this leaves him with only five cards in his Deck. Breo then passes the baton to Jean who proceeds in Dueling Yusei. After "Lightning Tricorn" failed to destroy "Junk Destroyer" in battle due to Yusei banishing "Shield Warrior" from his Graveyard, Jean activates this card's effect to inflict 800 damage to Yusei for each Speed Spell in his hand. Jean reveals "Speed Spell - Tyrant Force", but Yusei banishes "Damage Eater" and "Backup Warrior" from his Graveyard and hand in order to negate the damage he would take and increase his Life Points by the damage he would have taken. On Yusei's next turn, he activates this card's effect to remove ten Speed Counters and destroy "Lightning Tricorn". In the following episode, Yusei activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Jean for each Speed Spell in his hand. Yusei reveals "Speed Spell - Overspeed", so Jean takes 800 damage. Jean then activates the effect of "Thousand Crisscross" to make his Life Points 1000. After that resolves, "Thousand Crisscross" is destroyed as its effect had been used three times. Later Jean activates this card's effect to remove ten Speed Counters and destroy "Summon Tax", but Yusei activates the first effect of "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste" to banish "Stardust Dragon" from his Graveyard and grant "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste" all the effects of "Stardust Dragon". Yusei then activates the first "Stardust Dragon"-granted effect of "Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste" to Tribute itself and negate the effect of this card. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Yusei won. With that win, Team 5D's wins the match.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Crow has when he notes to his friends that Andre's Deck isn't a Power Deck like they thought it originally was.
    • In the third above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he wonders if Andre is going to activate "Speed Spell - The End of the Storm" on his next turn or save it for one of his teammates.
    • In the fifth above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he remembers the effect of "Voltic Bicorn" and how it made him send a lot of the cards in his Deck to the Graveyard.
    • In the fifth above-mentioned episode, this card appears in Jean's thoughts when he was deducing what Yusei was planning to do with "Summon Tax" and "Reflect Barrier". Jean notes that in order for Yusei to win with that combo, he would need to summon a monster that has at least 2000 ATK which Jean finds unlikely to occur.
    • In the fifth above-mentioned episode, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes that after the day he learned of Accel Synchro Summon, he's been searching for new dueling possibilities, but has not solved the Accel Synchro mystery yet.
  • In episode 103, this card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he learns that Iliaster and Ghost are connected to one another.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Leo has when he explains to his friends about the time Lester transferred to his school and when he later Duel against both him and Luna. Leo then noted the damage he felt from that Duel was real.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Jack has when he notes to his friends that he felt real damage during his Duel against the Fake Jack Atlas.
    • This card appears in a flashback Yusei has when he notes if Sherry is correct and the people controlling the Meklords appear again, then he must overcome his limits as he hasn't done so yet as Accel Synchro Summon will defeat the Meklords.
  • In episode 104, this card is used for the match between Team 5D's and Team Catastrophe. The first round was between Crow and Hermann. Crow was still injured, but he wanted to participate in the match as he didn't want any more of his friends getting hurt by "Hook the Hidden Knight(who Team Catastrophe was using to make people's Duel Runners crash). After Crow took damage from the effect of "Hook the Hidden Knight", a phantom shadow of "Hook the Hidden Knight" tried to grab Crow's Duel Runner and make him crash, but Crow quickly dodges at the last second. In the next episode, Crow manages to expose out to his friends the shadow phantom that was trying to grab his wheel and make him crash. It becomes apparent to Team 5D's that Team Catastrophe's true plan is to make their opponents crash which would allow them to win by default. Crow, despite having to deal with his injured arm, proceeds with the Duel, allowing him to defeat Hermann and destroy "Hook the Hidden Knight" once and for all. After winning, Crow could no longer take the strain from his arm, so he passes the baton to Jack who proceeds in Dueling. Due to the rulings of the WRGP, Jack starts off with 4000 Life Points. Hermann then passes the baton to Nicolas who proceeds in Dueling Jack. When "Power Giant" attacks directly, Nicolas activated "Doom Ray" to inflict 800 damage to both players for every card in Nicolas' hand. Since Nicolas has five cards in his hand, "Doom Ray" inflicts 4000 damage to both players. Nicolas' true aim was to destroy Jack's Duel Runner, so that Team 5D's would lose by default, however to his shock, he was also affected by the shadow effects of "Doom Ray". Due to the effect of "Power Giant", Jack takes no effect damage until the end of the Damage Step, so only Nicolas took the damage, thus winning Jack the Duel. Jack saves Nicolas before he gets enveloped by the shadowy ghosts. Nicolas' Duel Runner is destroyed in the explosion created by "Doom Ray" and because of that Team Catastrophe is automatically eliminated by default.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in the footage of the Turbo Duel between Andre and Nicolas and the Turbo Duel between Jean and Hermann while Team 5D's and Breo were trying to figure out why Andre and Jean crashed during the last match. They deduce that something caught Andre and Jean's Duel Runner wheels which is why they crashed. Yusei notes that what concerns him is "Hook the Hidden Knight" as it was already summoned by the time the wheels were locked. Bruno looks this card up and finds its stats and reveals that Andre crashed when "D.D. Unicorn Knight" tried to attack "Hook the Hidden Knight" while Jean crashed during his opponent's turn when the effect of "Hook the Hidden Knight" activated.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Yusei has when he wonders why was a shadow attacking Crow's wheel.
  • In episode 106, this card is used for the Battle Royale that occurs when Primo unleashes his Diablo army on Neo Domino City. A couple of Ghosts defeat a Team White Tiger Duelist and a Team Lightning Duelist each other. Later other Ghosts tried to defeat a Team White Wind Duelist, but Yusei saves her with the effect of "Swift Scarecrow". The Team White Wind Duelist drops out as per Yusei's request to her. Yusei, Sherry, and Elsworth then proceed in defeating the other Ghosts. At the same time, Other Ghosts were trying to defeat a Team Burning Duelist from somewhere else, but Jack and Kaz save him and defeat the Ghosts. At this point, Primo finds out that Yusei is behind the defeat of the many Ghosts, so he orders all the Ghosts to go after Yusei. After Yusei, Sherry, and Elsworth defeat some more Ghosts, the other Ghosts show up. Yusei and his friends try their best to defeat the Ghosts, but the Ghosts quickly defeat Sherry and Elsworth, leaving Yusei all alone. In the next episode, a Ghost Duelbot uses an "Ally Salvo" to attack Yusei directly, bringing Yusei's Life Points down to 2000. Before the army can finish Yusei off, Vizor arrives with "T.G. Blade Blaster". He then Normal Summons "Buster Blaster" and activates its first effect to equip itself to "Blade Blaster", decreasing its ATK and DEF by 500. "T.G. Blade Blaster" then attacks and destroys one copy of "Ally Salvo". This activates the second effect of "Buster Blaster", allowing Vizor to destroy the other copies of "Ally Salvo" and save Yusei. Later Primo arrives and tries to Duel Yusei, but Yusei, at this point, successfully performs Clear Mind and reaches a crater from somewhere else. Primo then proceeds to Duel Vizor. Right when Vizor was about to perform an Accel Synchro Summon, the Diablo army surrounds him, preventing him from Accel Synchro Summoning and forcing Vizor to end his turn. One Ghost then Normal Summons "Ally Salvo" and uses it to attack "T.G. Wonder Magician". "T.G. Wonder Magician" then destroys "Ally Salvo", but this activates its effect, allowing Ghost to destroy "T.G. Power Gladiator" and Vizor's set card. After a while, Yusei (with a new power in hand) arrives and Primo drops out to Duel Yusei while Vizor goes off to Duel the Diablo army and prevent them from interfering with Yusei's Duel. Despite warnings from Jakob and Lester, Primo accepts Yusei's challenge and merges with his Duel Runner.
  • In episode 108, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Primo. It was also used for the Turbo Duel between Jack and a Ghost Duelbot as well as Vizor and another Ghost Duelbot. Jack and Vizor win their respective Duels. In the next episode, Yusei activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw a card. In the following episode, Primo activates this card's effect to remove ten Speed Counters and destroy "Shooting Star Dragon", but Yusei activates the third effect of "Shooting Star Dragon" to banish it until the End Phase as well as allow Yusei to negate one attack that Primo makes. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Yusei won.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Yusei has when he notes that the Synchro Monster absorbing power of the Meklord Emperors is a powerful ability, but if he can achieve Accel Synchro Summon, then he may be able to find what he needs to beat the Meklord Emperors for good.
    • In the first above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Yusei has when he recognizes the Skiel parts as the parts to the Meklord Emperor that Leo and Luna battled against.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Yusei has when he questions himself why he couldn't Accel Synchro Summon at earlier.
    • In the second above-mentioned episode, this card is shown in a flashback Vizor has when he realizes that Yusei couldn't achieve Clear Mind because his heart was in chaos, which was why the Accel Synchro Summon failed.
  • In episode 111, this card is used for the Turbo between Jack and Max(who was secretly possessed by the Familiar of the Crimson Devil). This card remained on the field until the Duel got called off due to Jack catching on fire and going off track until he fell off.
    • This card also appears within a series of flashbacks Jack has when he remembers his loss against Andre and he notes that he needs to find a way to evolve his dueling style.
    • This card also appears in a flashback Jack has when he realizes if he doesn't improve his battling style, he won't be able to defeat the three Pure Nobles.
  • In episode 115, this card is used for the first shown Duel Puzzle that Yusei and his friends had to solve.
    • This card played no actual part in Lazar's attempt.
    • On Akiza's attempt, she activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Cup Ramen Man for each Speed Spell in her hand. Akiza reveals "Speed Spell - Speed Energy", so Cup Ramen Man takes 800 damage. This card remained on the field until Akiza won the Duel.
  • This card was then used for the second shown Duel Puzzle that Yusei and his friends had to solve.
    • On Jack's attempt, he activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Cup Ramen Man for each Speed Spell in his hand. Jack reveals "Speed Energy" and "Speed Spell - High Speed Crash", so Cup Ramen Man takes 1600 damage. Jack then activates this card's effect to remove four more Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Cup Ramen Man for each Speed Spell in his hand. Jack reveals "Speed Energy" and "High Speed Crash", so Cup Ramen Man takes 1600 damage. This card remained on the field until Jack lost the Duel.
    • On Yusei's attempt, he activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Cup Ramen Man for each Speed Spell in his hand. Yusei reveals "Speed Energy" and "High Speed Crash", so Cup Ramen Man takes 1600 damage. After Yusei activates "Speed Spell - Speed Energy" to increase the ATK of "Jester Queen" by 1200 (200 for each Speed Counter he has), Yusei activates this card's effect again to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Cup Ramen Man for each Speed Spell in his hand. Yusei reveals "High Speed Crash", so Cup Ramen Man takes 800 damage. This card remained on the field until Yusei won the Duel.
  • In episode 118, this card appears in a flashback Taro Yamashita has when he explains to Leo that when the Diablo army attacked Neo Domino City, they destroyed his team's Duel Runner.
  • In episode 119, this card is used for the match between Team 5D's and Team Taiyo. The first match was between Jack and Yoshizo Hayashi. On the fifth turn of the Duel, Yoshizo activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Jack for each Speed Spell in his hand. In the following episode, Taro defeats Crow. Crow then passes the baton to Yusei who proceeds in Dueling Taro. Yusei, after summoning "Big One Warrior", activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card ("Debris Dragon"). In the following episode, Taro activates this card's effect to remove four Speed Counters and inflict 800 damage to Yusei for each Speed Spell in his hand. Taro then reveals "Speed Spell - Final Attack", so Yusei takes 800 damage. After the second to last turn ends, Taro planned to defeat Yusei with this card's effect as long as he survived one more turn and retains the correct amount of Speed Spells in his hand and Speed Counters on "Speed World 2". Taro never had the chance to do that as Yusei defeated him before Taro can get another turn. With Yusei's victory, Team 5D's moves on to the next round.

Broder draws, but he doesn't draw a Speed Spell. After Crow and Broder's Duel ends in a draw, they pass the baton to Yusei and Halldor respectively who proceed in Dueling against each other. In the following episode, Yusei activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card. In the following episode, Halldor activates this card's effect to remove ten Speed Counters and destroy "Stardust Phantom". Yusei then activates the effect of "Stardust Phantom" to revive "Stardust Dragon" in Defense Position. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Yusei won. With Yusei's victory, Team 5D's wins the match and moves to the final round.

In the following episode, Yusei activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card. After Yusei won the Duel, the black hole swallows both players, but Antinomy uses the last of his strength to push Yusei out of the black hole at the cost of his own life.

  • In episode 147, this card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Z-one. In the next episode, Yusei Synchro Summons "Black-Winged Dragon", "Red Dragon Archfiend", and "Black Rose Dragon" within two turns. After Yusei manages to inflict damage to Z-one, parts of Z-one's helmet breaks apart and his face is revealed to be exactly like Yusei's face (which everyone is surprised at). In the following episode, Z-one claims he is Yusei's future self, which is why he could predict Yusei's moves very easily. Z-one then summons three new Timelords and uses them to return his Life Points to 4000, inflict damage to Yusei, and return Yusei's three Synchro Monsters to his Extra Deck. Later Yusei claims that Z-one can't be his future self as he wouldn't save the future by destroying Neo Domino City. Z-one then reveals that he was a scientist who became Yusei in an attempt to save the future from an apocalypse. When that failed, he eventually came to the conclusion that he must destroy Neo Domino City in order to save the future. Yusei manages to Synchro Summon "Ancient Fairy Dragon" on Z-one's next turn, but Z-one respond by summoning five new Timelords. In the following episode, Z-one uses his Timelords to return Yusei's "Ancient Fairy Dragon" and "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" to his Deck and reduce his Life Points to 750, but Yusei manages to use "Scrap-Iron Scarecrow" and cards in his hand to prevent himself from losing the Duel and Synchro Summon "Power Tool Dragon". Yusei nearly loses hope when he gets knocked off his Duel Runner, but his father tells him to not give up as he still has hope left in him from everyone that supports him. Encouraged, Yusei gets back on his Duel Runner and Synchro Summons "Life Stream Dragon". Yusei then activates "Speed Spell - Synchro Panic" to Special Summon "Black-Winged Dragon", "Red Dragon Archfiend", Black Rose Dragon", and "Ancient Fairy Dragon" from his Extra Deck. Yusei then activates the third effect of "Life Stream Dragon" to make the Levels of all other monsters on his side of the field. Yusei then tunes his five monsters together to Limit Over Accel Synchro Summon "Shooting Quasar Dragon". In the next episode, Yusei activates this card's effect to remove seven Speed Counters and draw one card. This card remained on the field until the Duel was over where Yusei won.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D Bonds Beyond Time[edit]

  • This card is used for the Turbo Duel between Yusei and Paradox. This card remained on the field until Paradox stole Yusei's "Stardust Dragon" and transformed it into a blackened, inverted, corrupted version of itself. Paradox then leaves Yusei's time at this point as his mission in Yusei's era was completed.
