Card Artworks:Black Illusion
- When this card was released, the artwork was redrawn:
- The staff was redrawn to match its appearance in artworks of "Dark Magician".
- The shield had additional highlights and shading added to make it look more three-dimensional.
- The mist in front of the shield was removed.
- The energy discharge effect was redrawn.
- In the international version, the initials on the shield are "DM" instead of "BM", matching the TCG name change of "Black Magician" to "Dark Magician". This artwork was used for the Korean version as well, even though "Dark Magician" is named "Black Magician" (블랙 매지션, Beullaek Maejisyeon) in Korean.
