OCG Rulings
- The effect "Gains ATK equal to the original ATK of each "Altergeist" monster it points to" is a Continuous Effect.[1]
- The effect "When a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 "Altergeist" monster this card points to; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card" is a Quick Effect. (It does not target. Tributing 1 "Altergeist" monster in the Monster Zone this card points to is a cost to activate this effect. It can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- The effect "negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card" does not target. (It is activated directly in Chain to the activation of a Spell/Trap Card or the activation of a Spell/Trap Card's effect.)[1]
- The effect "If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can add 1 "Altegeist" card from your Deck to your hand" is a Trigger Effect that activates in the Graveyard. (It does not target. It can be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
