OCG Rulings
- Even if a face-down Defense Position "Battlin' Boxer" monster you control is attacked, the effect of "Battlin' Boxer Counterpunch" can be activated. In this case, the effect of "Battlin' Boxer Counterpunch" can only be activated during the Damage Step after the monster has been flipped face-up. It cannot be activated before that.[2]
