Card Rulings:Beast Rising
TCG Rulings
- Beast Rising does not continue to target monsters that gained ATK from its effect.[1]
- You can remove from play a Token to activate the effect of Beast Rising. The original ATK will be the value written on the card that Special Summoned it.[1]
- The target of this effect must be a Beast or Beast-Warrior when the effect is activated and when it is resolved in order to receive the boost.[1]
- You can activate the effect of Beast Rising during the Damage Step, up until the start of damage calculation. You cannot activate it during damage calculation.[1]
- The ATK increase is permanent, even if Beast Rising leaves the field.[1]
OCG Rulings
- Removing from play one Beast or Beast-Warrior-Type monster is a cost to activate the effect of "Beast Rising".[2]
- The effect of "Beast Rising" targets one Beast or Beast-Warrior-Type monster which is face-up on your side of the field.[2]
- The increase to ATK by the effect of "Beast Rising" continues to be applied even after "Beast Rising" is removed from the field.[2]
- "Beast Rising" does not continue to target monsters that gained ATK from its effect. Thus, if "Beast Rising" is removed from the field, then the monster's ATK does not return to its previous value.[3]
