Card Rulings:Cyberdark Impact!
OCG Rulings
- Returning "Cyberdark Horn", "Cyberdark Edge" and "Cyberdark Keel" to the Deck and Special Summoning from the Extra Deck are not treated as being performed at the same time.[1]
- You can choose to return a face-down Defense Position "Cyberdark Horn" etc. on your field to your Deck. (In that case, your opponent can confirm that the card returned to the Deck is the appropriate card.)[1]
- You can choose to return a "Cyberdark Edge" etc. that is in your Spell & Trap Zone due to the effect of "Relinquished" etc. to your Deck.[1]
- When "Cyberdark Impact!" resolves, you must return 1 each of "Cyberdark Horn", "Cyberdark Edge", and "Cyberdark Keel" to the Deck. Therefore, "King of the Swamp" cannot be returned to the Deck by the effect of "Cyberdark Impact!".[2]
- If any of the chosen "Cyberdark Horn", "Cyberdark Keel", or "Cyberdark Edge" to be returned to the Deck are owned by the opponent, that monster is returned to your opponent's Deck. ("Cyberdark Dragon" is Special Summoned normally.)[3]
- If any of the chosen "Cyberdark Horn", "Cyberdark Keel", or "Cyberdark Edge" to be returned to the Deck are owned by the opponent, that monster is returned to your opponent's Deck. ("Cyberdark Dragon" is Special Summoned normally.)[4]
- The resolution of "Cyberdark Impact!" returns 1 each of "Cyberdark Horn", "Cyberdark Edge" and "Cyberdark Keel" from the player's hand, field, and/or Deck to the owner's Deck as Fusion Material and performs a Fusion Summon. Therefore, while the effect of "Prohibition" activated by declaring "Cyberdark Edge" is applying, if "Cyberdark Edge" was not on the field before the effect of "Prohibition" was applied, because "Cyberdark Edge" cannot be used as Fusion Material, "Cyberdark Impact!" cannot be activated.[5]
Previously Official Rulings
These TCG rulings were issued by Upper Deck Entertainment and have since been declared unofficial by Konami.[6] They were previously considered official and can still be correct, as long as they follow the official gameplay rules, or unless Konami has issued a ruling that says otherwise.
