- Q: "Protector of the Sanctuary" is face-up in my opponent's Monster Zone, and its effect that prevents the opponent (me) from drawing is applying. In this situation, can I activate "Dealer's Choice"?
- A: While the effect of "Protector of the Sanctuary" is applying, neither player can activate "Dealer's Choice". Also, if "Call of the Haunted" is chained to "Dealer's Choice" and "Protector of the Sanctuary" is Special Summoned, the player who cannot draw due to the effect of "Protector of the Sanctuary" does not shuffle their Deck, draw, or discard a card. The player who is able to draw will shuffle, draw, and discard a card normally.[1][2]
