Card Rulings:Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode
TCG Rulings
- You can, for example, Summon 1 Zombie from your opponent’s Graveyard, and 2 from yours, etc. This effect targets 1 or more monsters in the Graveyard(s).[1]
- After the Zombie(s) are Summoned, they are no longer targeted by “Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode”. Even if “Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode” is removed from the field [sic], those Zombies’ effects are still negated, and they are still destroyed during the End Phase.[1]
- Destroying the Special Summoned monsters in the End Phase does not start a chain.[1]
OCG Rulings

Even if this card is sent to the Graveyard after being Special Summoned with "Assault Mode Activate", it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by the effect of "Monster Reborn".[2]
- The effect that Special Summons any number of Zombie monsters is a Trigger Effect. (It targets 1 or more Zombie monsters in either player's Graveyard(s).)[2]

- Q: If "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" leaves the field before the End Phase, are the effects of the Special Summoned Zombie monsters still negated? Also, are they still destroyed during the End Phase?
- A: Even if the "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" that activated its effect is no longer on the field, the effects of the Special Summoned Zombie monsters remain negated and they are destroyed during the End Phase.[3]
- Q: If the Zombie monster Special Summoned by "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" is flipped face-down by "Book of Moon", are its effects still negated? Also, is it still destroyed during the End Phase?
- A: If the Zombie monster Special Summoned by "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" is flipped face-down, since the effect of "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" is no longer applied, the Zombie monster no longer has its effects negated and it is not destroyed during the End Phase.[4]
