TCG Rulings

  • You can, for example, Summon 1 Zombie from your opponent’s Graveyard, and 2 from yours, etc. This effect targets 1 or more monsters in the Graveyard(s).[1]

OCG Rulings

  • "This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Assault Mode Activate"" is not treated as an effect. Even if this card is sent to the Graveyard after being Special Summoned with "Assault Mode Activate", it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard by the effect of "Monster Reborn".[2]
  • The effect that Special Summons any number of Zombie monsters is a Trigger Effect. (It targets 1 or more Zombie monsters in either player's Graveyard(s).)[2]
  • Destroying the Summoned monsters during the End Phase does not start a Chain Link.[2]
  • Q: If "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" leaves the field before the End Phase, are the effects of the Special Summoned Zombie monsters still negated? Also, are they still destroyed during the End Phase?
A: Even if the "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" that activated its effect is no longer on the field, the effects of the Special Summoned Zombie monsters remain negated and they are destroyed during the End Phase.[3]
A: If the Zombie monster Special Summoned by "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" is flipped face-down, since the effect of "Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode" is no longer applied, the Zombie monster no longer has its effects negated and it is not destroyed during the End Phase.[4]
