OCG Rulings
- The effect that Special Summons 1 Level 4 or lower "Dragonmaid" monster from your hand is a Quick Effect that activates in the hand. (It does not target. Discarding "Dragonmaid Ernus" is a cost to activate its effect. Also, it cannot be activated during the Damage Step.)[1]
- The effect that makes this card unable to be destroyed by card effects while you control a Fusion Monster is a Continuous Effect.[1]
- The effect that returns this card to the hand and Special Summons 1 Level 2 "Dragonmaid" monster from your hand is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
- Returning this card to the hand and Special Summoning 1 Level 2 "Dragonmaid" monster from your hand are considered to happen at the same time.[1]
- Q: When you activate the effect of "Dragonmaid Ernus" at the end of the Battle Phase, if the opponent activates "Raigeki Break" in Chain and destroys "Dragonmaid Ernus", how does its effect resolve?
- A: When resolving the effect of "Dragonmaid Ernus" that activates at the end of the Battle Phase, if "Dragonmaid Ernus" was destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, since it cannot be returned to the hand, you cannot Special Summon 1 Level 2 "Dragonmaid" monster from your hand.[2]
