- This card's effect that Special Summons it from your hand is a Trigger Effect that activates in the hand. (It does not target. Revealing the drawn "Fortune Fairy Hikari" in your hand is the cost to activate its effect.)[1]

- Q: "Macro Cosmos" is face-up in the Spell &; Trap Zone, and its effect that banishes any card that would be sent to the Graveyard is applying. In this situation, if I Special Summon a "Fortune Fairy Hikari" from my hand, can I activate its effect?
- A: As in this scenario, you can still activate the second effect of "Fortune Fairy Hikari" while the effect of "Macro Cosmos" is applying. In that case, the targeted monster is banished instead of being sent to the Graveyard, so you cannot Special Summon a Level 1 Spellcaster monster from your Deck.[2]
- Q: A Sky Striker Ace Token is in my Monster Zone. In this situation, when activating the second effect of "Fortune Fairy Hikari", can I target that Sky Striker Ace Token?
