- Forbidden Chalice: If a monster like “Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast” is targeted with “Forbidden Chalice,” it has 3200 ATK, then 2800 ATK after the End Phase.
OCG Rulings
- The effect of halving this card's ATK and DEF is part of Normal Summoning/Setting it without Tribute. It does not start a chain.[1]
- While "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" is face-down, its effect is not applied, so its ATK is 2800. You can Set it without Tributes, and then Tribute it as a cost to activate "Deck Devastation Virus".[2]
- When Tributing "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" or "Beast King Barbaros" for "Fog King", you use the printed ATK of the Tributed monsters to determine the ATK of "Fog King". If you Tribute a "Beast King Barbaros" with 1900 ATK for "Fog King", then the ATK of "Fog King" is 3000.[3]
- If "Beast King Barbaros" or "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" is Normal Summoned without Tributes and has its ATK/DEF changed, then if it is flipped face-down by an effect like "Book of Moon", then the effect which changes its ATK/DEF is no longer applied, so "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" returns to 2800/2000. Also, if it is removed from play by "Interdimensional Matter Transporter", then the effect which changes its ATK/DEF is no longer applied as soon "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" is removed from the field, so "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" returns to 2800/2000.[4]

- Machina Armored Unit: "Machina Armored Unit" refers to the destroyed monster's ATK and Attribute while the destroyed monster is in the Graveyard when determining which monsters may be Special Summoned from the Deck.[5]
- Example: If "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" with 1400 Original ATK is destroyed by battle while it is being treated as an EARTH monster by "DNA Transplant", then "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" has 2800 ATK and is a DARK monster while in the Graveyard, so you can Special Summon a DARK Machine-Type monster with 2799 ATK or less.[5]

- If you Set "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast", even without Tribute, you do not have to show it to your opponent.
- If you Set "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" without Tribute, it has 2800 ATK and 1400 [sic] DEF while face-down and can be Tributed to activate "Deck Devastation Virus", etc. It has 1400 ATK and 1000 DEF when flipped face-up.
- If "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast", with halved ATK and DEF because of its effect, is flipped face-down, and then flipped face-up again, it will then have its full ATK 2800 and DEF 2000.
- If you have "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" with original ATK of 1400 because you Summoned or Set it without Tribute, and you equip it with "Megamorph", its original ATK will be 2800 when your Life Points are lower, and 700 when your Life Points are higher.
- If you Summoned this card without Tribute, and then "Skill Drain" is later activated, the ATK and DEF are no longer halved. If "Skill Drain" is later destroyed, the ATK and DEF still remain 2800/2000.

- Castle Gate: If you Normal Summon "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" without Tributes and reduce its Level to 5 or less with a card effect, when you Tribute it with "Castle Gate" you will inflict 2800 damage to your opponent's Life Points ("Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast's" original ATK).
- Divine Wrath: You cannot chain "Divine Wrath" to Continuous Effects such as: ... "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" ....
- Elemental HERO Flame Wingman: If your "Elemental Hero Flame Wingman" [sic] destroys a "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" that was Summoned without Tribute, inflict 2800 damage to your opponent's Life Points.
- Unstable Evolution: If "Unstable Evolution" is equipped to a "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" that was Normal Summoned or Set without Tributes, its original ATK is determined by "Unstable Evolution". When "Unstable Evolution" is negated or removed from the field, "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast's" ATK becomes halved to 1400.
- Winged Kuriboh LV10: The "combined original ATK" of the destroyed monsters is calculated after the monsters are destroyed and are no longer on the field. So a destroyed "King of the Skull Servants" would add 0 damage to this effect, and a destroyed "Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast" that was Summoned without Tribute would add 2800 damage.
