OCG Rulings

  • "Must be Special Summoned with "Mask Change"" is not treated as an effect.[1]
  • The effect that Special Summons 1 Level 4 or lower "HERO" monster is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
  • The effect can optionally be activated at the end of the Damage Step in which "Masked HERO Dian" destroyed an opponent's monster by battle and sent it to the Graveyard.[1]
  • The effect cannot be activated if "Masked HERO Dian" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.[1]
  • This card can only be Special Summoned by the effect of "Mask Change", "Mask Change II", or "Form Change". Even after "Masked HERO Dian" is Special Summoned, it cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard with "Monster Reborn".[1]
