A: You can target "Mekk-Knight Purple Nightfall" with its own effect.[1]
  • Q: "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is face-up on my opponent's field. In this case, can I activate the effect of "Mekk-Knight Purple Nightfall" that banishes a "Mekk-Knight" monster on my field and adds another "Mekk-Knight" monster from my Deck to my hand?
A: In this scenario, while the effect of "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is applying, you will not be able to add a "Mekk-Knight" monster from your Deck to your hand, so you cannot activate the effect of "Mekk-Knight Purple Nightfall". Also, if the effect of "Mekk-Knight Purple Nightfall" is activated, but the effect of "Thunder King Rai-Oh" is applying when it resolves, the targeted "Mekk-Knight" monster is still banished but you cannot add a "Mekk-Knight" monster from your Deck to your hand.[2]
