OCG Rulings

  • The resolution of "Shuffle into the Deck, from your hand, field, or GY, the Fusion Materials that are listed on an "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster that lists "Elemental HERO Neos" as Fusion Material" and the resolution of "Special Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions" are considered to happen at the same time.[1]

Q&A Rulings

  • Q: Can "King of the Swamp" be used to Special Summon "Elemental HERO Aqua Neos" by the effect of "Miracle Contact"?
A: Since the Special Summon performed by the effect of "Miracle Contact" is not treated as a Fusion Summon, the effect "This card can be used as a substitute for any 1 Fusion Material" of "King of the Swamp" cannot be applied.[2]
  • Q: When resolving "Miracle Contact", can face-down Fusion Materials be returned to the Deck?
A: When resolving the effect of "Miracle Contact", the Fusion Monster can be Special Summoned by returning face-down monsters you control to the Deck. Also, if you return a face-down monster to the Deck, it is returned to the Deck after the opponent verifies that it is a Fusion Material listed on the Fusion Monster.[3]
  • Q: Can "Elemental HERO Neos Knight" be Special Summoned by "Miracle Contact"?
A: "Elemental HERO Neos Knight", which lists ""Elemental HERO Neos" + 1 Warrior-Type monster" as Fusion Materials, can be Special Summoned by the effect of "Miracle Contact".[4]
  • Q: Can "Elemental HERO Divine Neos" or "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero" be Special Summoned by "Miracle Contact"?
A: "Elemental HERO Divine Neos", "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero" and "Elemental HERO The Shining" are not treated as a "Elemental HERO" Fusion Monster that lists "Elemental HERO Neos" as Fusion Material. Therefore, they cannot be Special Summoned by the effect of "Miracle Contact".[5]
  • Q: Can "Rainbow Neos" be Special Summoned by "Miracle Contact"?
A: "Rainbow Neos" lists "Elemental HERO Neos" as Fusion Material, but its name does not list "Elemental HERO". Therefore, "Rainbow Neos" cannot be Special Summoned by the effect of "Miracle Contact".[6]
  • Q: Can an "Elemental HERO Prisma" whose name was changed be returned to the Deck by "Miracle Contact"?
A: The effect of "Miracle Contact" can Special Summon a Fusion Monster by returning to the Deck an "Elemental HERO Neos Alius", "Elemental HERO Prisma" or "Phantom of Chaos" whose name is treated as "Elemental HERO Neos". Also, the effect of "Miracle Contact" can Special Summon a Fusion Monster by returning to the Extra Deck a "Hundred Eyes Dragon" whose name is treated as "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther".[7]
  • Q: While the effect of "Necrovalley" is applying, can "Miracle Contact" be activated?
A: Even if the effect of "Necrovalley" is applying, "Miracle Contact" can be activated. During the resolution, shuffle the Fusion Materials from your hand or Monster Zone into the Deck and Special Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck. (If you cannot resolve this card's effect unless you include Fusion Materials in your Graveyard, then the effect of "Miracle Contact" is not applied.)[8]
A: The effect of "Miracle Contact" returns monsters to the Deck that are listed as Fusion Materials for the appropriate Fusion Monster, but those monsters returning to the Deck are not treated as Fusion Materials. Therefore, even if the effect of "Fusion Tag" was applied to a monster returned to the Deck by the effect of "Miracle Contact", the monster cannot be treated as the revealed monster, so in this case the monster you must Special Summon is "Elemental HERO Grand Neos".[9][10]
