OCG Rulings
- "Mordschlag" is an Equip Spell Card that can only be equipped to a face-up Normal Summoned/Set monster in your Monster Zone. (If your opponent gains control of the equipped monster, "Mordschlag" is destroyed.)[1]
- This card's effect that makes the equipped monster unaffected by the activated effects of your opponent's Special Summoned monsters does not start a Chain. (It is the effect applied to the equipped monster.)[1]
- This card's effect that decreases the ATK/DEF of an opponent's Special Summoned monster that battles with the equipped monster starts a Chain. (It does not target.)[1]
- This effect activates not only when the equipped monster attacks an opponent's Special Summoned monster, but also when an opponent's Special Summoned monster attacks the equipped monster.[1]
